MCW can run the offense its just he is not consistent with it. MCW biggest point is defense.
Yeah if you dont need a more defensive oriented PG you wont but value wise how much more you expect someone to give for Payne ?

We aren't trying to trade him, you came to us

“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

No offense taken, just saying that if we're moving him it's because a team overpaid by giving a guy like Middleton, we won't be actively pursuing a deal. We need a 3/D wing and rim protecting big but our only non negative assets we're open to moving are Mitch, Augustin, Dion and 2nd round picks.

Admittedly the offense may be a bit better w/ Donovan.

Re: Oklahoma City Thunder Regular Season '15-'16 Part III
I didn't think this would be this drastic:
With Kanter off the floor, our Ratings are:
ORtG: 110.0
DRtG: 96.9
NetRtG: 13.1
Keep this in mind:
NetRtG with Durant on the floor: 15.2
NetRtG with Westbrook on the floor: 14.9
So we still get a little bit worse without our Superstars on the floor, but we still stay very good. That ORtG without Kanter would be good for 2nd in the league and the DRtG for 2nd in the league. The NetRtG for 2nd as well.

Re: Oklahoma City Thunder Regular Season '15-'16 Part III
Hi there! I came looking for the game thread to wish you all luck! Even though we had a good game in Denver, the Heat haven't been sharp. Dragic is injured until next week or the week after. Wade has bad shoulders, but I think he'll play. Johnson's shoulder is also iffy (but better), but Spo won't fight to keep him off (the kid is crazy to play). Andersen and McRoberts are out (at least for a week). Whiteside's knees are better (he has been struggling with tendinitis). We called Jarnell Stokes to reinforce the team but he will meet them in Miami (illness).
Even though we are 9.5 pt underdogs, I think the Heat might be surprising. We play better against elite opponents and the Thunder are one of the great teams right now.
So, my big wish is that nobody gets hurt on our side and that the Thunder don't catch our injury bug. This is the second game of the season. Let it not be the last! #ImOnlyDreaming
Take it easy and have fun!

Re: Oklahoma City Thunder Regular Season '15-'16 Part III
Miami is a tough matchup for us, stil, even without LeBron. Whiteside is a freak and one of the few centers in the league that can really disrupt the athletic and attacking advantage we have over most teams. Wade seems to always turn back the clock and bring his A game against us, and Bosh is a tough guard for Serge.

Re: Oklahoma City Thunder Regular Season '15-'16 Part III
As usual, Wade has brought his A game against the Thunder.
And kanter isn't going to hack it against Whiteside. He has zero eelevation and is just a block waiting to happen for Whiteside. We need to go small with Ibaka at center to pull Whiteside away from the basket, because Kanter's zero athleticism is going to get eaten alive all night by Whiteside.

And Whiteside makes a 15-foot fadeaway from the baseline...because he's playing the Thunder.

Wade with 20 points after he hits an 18-foot stepback over Ibaka...because he's playing the Thunder.

And Whiteside drains a 20-footer...when did this guy become a knockdown mid-range jump shooter?

Its a 5 point game, but right now I don't really have any major criticisms, shots not falling but up.
Up 7 now, nice lob.
