We just had a bizzarro hashtag party. First time I've used that many. Feels weird, kinda fun, but the space bar was missed.

That was more annoying to read than a Kevin Durant free agency article :banghead:
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Is our 16 back-to-backs down from the past few seasons? I know they reduced the number of back-to-backs this season league-wide, but I don't know how our number of back-to-backs compare to past seasons.

We do have a tough start to the season with the opener against the Spurs and four games in five nights stretch with the second game of the first back-to-back at Houston, and the second game of the second back-to-back and fourth game in five nights at Chicago. A 3-3 start to the season wouldn't be surprising or worrisome/alarming.
Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:

I wouldn't be real shocked if we were 11-9 to start the season. KD needs to be reintegrated and we'll be feeling out a new coach and lineup changes, we probably won't know how good we really are until the end of January.

Yeah, assuming health this year I'm actually not going to panic hopefully. Need some overtime at work though so I can afford LP, hoping it happens.

On Durant's bone-graft surgery.

Robert Klapper, a Los Angeles orthopedic surgeon who was not involved in Durant's case, equated the steps taken in Durant's third surgery to "putting a belt on his pants—and suspenders."

Klapper said that after a year of healing, the fifth metatarsal in Durant's right foot should have greater integrity than ever before.

"There is no reason why Kevin Durant should not be like the Lopez twins (Brook and Robin), Pau Gasol, Michael Jordan and many other folks who've had metatarsal fractures and gone back and played and never had a problem again," Klapper said. "The data supports that he should come back stronger and should never have a problem with this again.

"That's the answer that you have to give. But nobody knows for sure."

Just think about teams trying to defend against this team, and you will be really happy. A Westbrook/Kanter two man game keeps opposing back courts honest, pulls extra big off Durant to make it even easier for one of the game's best scorers. Meanwhile, Morrow is licking his chops on the wings, and Ibaka is getting easy baskets in cleanup work.

Also, with front court parade of Ibaka, Kanter, Adams, McGary and Collison extra shots from rebounds should be in the cards.

Kill negative Nelly, and bury her deep.

Here is the real reason they signed Dez Wells

http://www.csnwashington.com/basketball-washington-wizards/talk/turns-out-dez-wells-and-kevin-durant-have-connection-too

Durant/Wells connection

Whether he makes team or not, it is a favor to Durant. Pandering, yes, but Wizards already tried this.

Bondom

If Wells impresses the hell out of management at camp, maybe there is another advantage beyond cozying up to Durant pre-contract expiration. He is an SG. Maybe they come to senses and trade Waiters.

I realize as bad as Waiters is, it would be asking a lot from Dez to pass someone that management thought worthy of spending. 1st rounder, but hey ... here is to hoping.
