Yeah, beats playing Lakers or Warriors for play in. Least now you have a shot to win a game and see what happens next.

Therefore New Orleans has to win today in Minneapolis. Not sure. I think we play the Pelicans
Would be better because Gobert and Towns will dominate the Glass against us.

Why aren’t you guys satisfied with Dort? He brings excellent defense to a team but his shooting can do more work. Feel like every team needs a tough nosed defender like Dort.

If Dort played like Roberson offensively (take open threes and use cuts for easy baskets) he probably would have a very high 3p-percentage and would be an useful weapon. But he is playing like he was an allstar. And he isn't an allstar. That's the problem.

You know, I don’t actually think that’s true on this team. The offense is built around versatility, good decision making, movement, and being able to hit open jumpers. It’s going to look wicked good when there are 5 guys on the floor who can do that. It’s a big deal when a guard can’t. I don’t think hiding in the corner works works in this offense. Dort isn’t versatile, doesn’t make good decisions, and any movement he can make is undermined by him not being able to score near the rim. I do think there are offenses in the league where he would work, but I can’t see it in this offense without a complete transformation of his game.

Got to love Rudy throwing a punch. Wonder if he is suspended for the playoff game.

They sent him home. Up to the Wolves.

McDaniels out with injury too.

stupid question but still not used to the play in: who gets the higher pick if we beat the team at 9 in the standings but lose the second play in game?

Would love to have Kyle Anderson on this team .

I guess it’s time to sell high on tre Mann ?

I doubt his value is higher now because of a useless game

The trade isn't really the disaster, but rather the utilization. Every player's statistics have to be interpreted within their role. Gobert's on/off stuff has been dominant over the last six years, but this is a new situation with a new supporting cast. I believe Gobert can still be the player he was, but Minnesota has to understand how to utilize him and I don't have the expectation that they will. Edwards, Towns, and the rest of that roster aren't going to accommodate his particular strengths.

I certainly hope he misses the play-in game. He can still kill us on the glass.

It’s a really frustrating experience as a fan having players on your team that you dislike as a person. OKC is a fun team full of likable guys. It’s going to be a fun stretch, y’all.

pretty much this. Bazley was the only guy I didn't like. Can complain about Dort and Mann from a basketball perspective but they are great guys.

We played a bunch of tanking teams but 40 wins is still impressive.
