I guess it’s time to sell high on tre Mann ?

I doubt his value is higher now because of a useless game

At least people will know his name marginally more .

And sell high could be a low ish second tbh .

Great question. I think it occurred last year. It goes by record.

Our team is tired anyway and gonna lose against the Pels IMO but I look forward to see how Giddey/JDub/Shai will perform in an important game. I think Shai might struggle a bit with refs calling less fouls.

Gobert trade was awful from day one but this is...

The trade isn't really the disaster, but rather the utilization. Every player's statistics have to be interpreted within their role. Gobert's on/off stuff has been dominant over the last six years, but this is a new situation with a new supporting cast. I believe Gobert can still be the player he was, but Minnesota has to understand how to utilize him and I don't have the expectation that they will. Edwards, Towns, and the rest of that roster aren't going to accommodate his particular strengths.

I certainly hope he misses the play-in game. He can still kill us on the glass.

This trade was trash. No reason to trade multiple unprotected picks for this guy. They should have saved these picks for an actual star. **** Mitchell would have been an better option…

Thunder are locked in the 11th - 15th pick if they don’t win the lottery. They will have a 8.5% chance to win the lottery if they get the 11th seed, and 8.1 chance with the 12th seed (if both Chicago and OKC don’t get the 8th seed and the Thunder lose the coin toss).

Therefore New Orleans has to win today in Minneapolis. Not sure. I think we play the Pelicans
Would be better because Gobert and Towns will dominate the Glass against us.

That was my reflection, now we play the Pels.

gonna root to beat the Pels then (and I hope we lose against Wolves/Lakers after that because of pick and lotto odds but I get those who want a playoff series)

The pelicans are a tough matchup for us. I think we get smoked but this is good experience.

So long as it’s once off and not 2-3 times practise is like this.

No matter what happens tonight, that was a fun season. Most fun I have had watching the Thunder since early 2020.
I'm obviously gonna be pissed to pick at 12 though :(

The last pick 12 didn’t do too badly though.

It’s around this range that you can pick someone who can contribute immediately and no longer in their teens cause those with supposedly higher upside has all been picked .

late lotto is definitely an underrated spot to draft and we see very good players drafted in that range every year...not that likely to draft a guy as good as JDub though :)
