The Detroit win continues to look less and less impressive.

I don't post a ton of what I write but just in case, where I stand up for Jerami Grant:

They were never "that" good, but the win was still great. We shut them down.

You should promote your stuff more. I don't often go to welcome to loud city so I usually miss it.

Am I the only one with little interest in Beal? If OKC could get him for any combination of their young guards (Diallo, Ferguson, etc) then yeah pull the trigger, but OKC is sitting at #1 in the west right now. Leave well enough alone. Trading Adams would be a disaster imo.

I like him and even mentioned it in the offseason before Washington went into chaos. That being said, the situation is different now. Adams is better than last year. Weather or not if the trade makes a okc better would depend on what happens with Adams replacement.

It just seems like for a team that struggles offensively at times, and more specifically, whose 2 best offensive players (and 3 best creators) are all below average in terms of scoring efficiency, having arguably the best offensive rebounder in the league is a huge asset. Extra possessions help tremendously. OKC leads the league in offensive rebounds per game at 12.9, and Adams makes up 40% of that. He is also a great screen setter which is an underrated skill, and he demands attention rolling to the hoop. Beal is certainly better than Adams in a vacuum, but as a compliment to Westbrook and George, Adams seems like a much better player.

Adams is a lot bigger to us than Beal in any combo.
Our composition would fall to pieces without Adams.

I didn’t realize this until someone posted it on Reddit.

All 6 players we lost last year are out of the league.

Huestis
Singler
Collison
Anthony
Brewer
Dakari

I feel like Beal + Mahinmi night just be better than Ferguson + Adams but heck what do I know?

That's not a realistic option anyway since it adds too much salary due to Mahinmi's horrendous contract.
