How long until Presti pulls the panic chord?

We played pretty good team Bball for most of the game. Just a pity we decide to end it by playing the dumb Bball that is making us lose. Lets hope they learn and we slowly grow towards being a team that plays good team basketball for 4 quarters. Thunderup!

We did not play good basketball most of the game. After the first quarter we had an ORtG of 93. That's beyond terrible. And we had a DRtG of 110. Also terrible.

I said team bball. We passed around and found the open man, the open man didnt hit his shot that much tho. In the 4th qtr we went stagnant offense mode again.

I see Houston fans are reveling in early season success. Well some, K Chile popped by the other day but he's the cool one. Also pretty sure I saw a guy say Russ isn't a top 10 player lol. Granted this year he's not top 100 likely.

We stopped 'passing around' 10 minutes in.

This focus on 'clutch performance' ignores that we're not playing well at all in the quarters preceding the last 5 minutes. Our problem is not 'Not closing the deal'.

The Thunder have a +7.4 net rating — third-best in the league — in non-garbage time and have the second-best defense over the first 10 games of the year.

And now look at the losses. I did it with our starters a couple of games ago and said that the bench was the only thing in those games. Our stars we're getting blown out in every single one of those games.

I'm at work right now, so I can't really do it myself.

They have been poor, but the team as a whole has been good, as has the defense until the 4th.

I'm at a loss. I'm so glad the last two games have been way too late for me to even bother to try and stay up to watch them. Four losses in a row. Four straight games scoring less than 100 points. We're 0-6 against the West and 0-5 against the division.

There's no denying it: we have some mega-serious issues. This just isn't a playoff caliber basketball team...somehow.
Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:

Yes, with Mudiay getting to play best game of his NBA career, you know you have some issues...

Updates about Adams? I guess with the way the thunder works with injuries, we will never know how many time he will miss

This game really came down to Denver consistently getting much easier baskets through running at least some sort of an organized, structured offense and OKC continually getting more difficult looks because almost everything they do is an isolation play while everybody just stands around. This is not looking good.

Of course he is. It's the coaches job to put something in place.

So can we agree they're either trying to get Billy fired or perhaps they just don't like each other? I've never seen a group of guys just dog it so much on offense and now its really becoming apparent on a lot of their defensive possessions as well.

I think they would just say they want him gone behind the scenes. Russ is too competitive to lose on purpose, atleast i think he is.

Return to Oklahoma City Thunder
