everyone on here would agree that baron westbrook has been playing poorly this year. maybe there's slight disagreement on the degree, but is anyone seriously contesting me on this?

does anyone seriously believe westbrook's been better than paul george? show of hands?

1. Westbrook has been very bad this year

2. PG13 was trash before last 2 games

george has been consistently effective on defense.

Yes he has. And inconsistent on offense. No one is arguing that Russel is struggling, we seem to disagree on the degree to which he is struggling and why.

"George is a slight upgrade over Oladipo".
"I don't know of any player that, when the shot goes up, he doesn't want it to go in," Donovan said

you're equivocating. you know westbrook's been terrible. i have no idea why you won't admit it.

That's what sample sizes overreactions are. That's why I'm not going to be so arrogant on Westbrook even if he pisses me off right now.

I don't remember what he was shooting at half but Russ has gone without a TO in the second half and has 27 on 18 shots. He hit free throws too.

And you are trying too hard to force your opinion down everyone’s throat and many of your comments boarder on passive aggressive. Why won’t you admit that?

george leads the league in stl%. he's been a beast on a defense that has been carrying the team. what's westbrook's role been on the defense? to gather as many drb as he can so his dbpm looks reasonable? to give up consecutive threes gambling for steals and rebounds in 4q against the clippers?

unless you're prepared to make the case that they've been equally valuable on defense then i can't see where you're coming from here.

Last check Westbrook lead the league in assist percentage. He's been facilitating more than usual and PG hasn't. Unless you can tell me PG has actually been facilitating I can't see where you're coming from here. Yes he's a better shooter, but by that then Abrines is a better offensive player too.

They got the W. That's all that matters.

PG has gone nuclear the last two games. Good sign that he's being assertive. For this team to get anywhere near their ceiling, he's got to stay aggressive. Too good to be passive.

career high tov%. < 50% ts. no duh his ast% is high, the offense goes through him 99% of the time, but it's been what, league average with him in the game? after it was top 5 or 6 last year with him in the game? come on.

'facilitating'.

abrines? these are the kinds of non-sequitor arguments sleestak33 would make.

No, but I apparently can't use on/off because you don't count that. So I'm not really sure where to start. Seems like you're ignoring metrics you normally use to evaluate players because they suddenly don't fit.

If you'd also care, here's Nate (@bbstats) blended rating.

Russ also ahead.

that's not true and you know it. i never use raw individual +/- like this. this borderline libelous.

how about individual performance indicators? scoring efficiency? turnover%? usage? that sort of stuff.

I just posted one above.

And I used net rating on/off for the season, which you also ignored.
