Anyone have thoughts on Sexton and SGA from Kentucky? I see both guys being in the 8-15 range most often.

Likely late 1st. I like him, but think he is somewhat overvalued because of one insane game.

That's certainly possible (at least from my perspective since I haven't been able to study up on the draft this year).

I really like Okogie. Superb athlete that's comfortable creating offense for himself. Put him at the backup point guard position and let him go, could be a mini-bench Westbrook.

I'm intrigued by De'Anthony Melton. Cole Zwicker was saying the other day that he might be the best defensive guard prospect in 10 years.

Wow. Completely forgot that we still had another 1st round pick outstanding for Jerami Grant. Hope they re-sign him given the bill is coming due one way or another (top 20 protected so not exactly I suppose).

If the Thunder have the #19 pick in the 2020 draft they get to keep it and move two seocnd rounders.

A 28% three point shooter and only a 70% ft shooter. I assume he’s a second rounder.

Stop worshiping at the alter of sunk cost fallacy!!!! There is no excuse for extending Grant given the tax bill it will create. He is not worth his salary AND the tax bill. What was traded for him is irrelevant. That is like saying they should have given Lamb a max because they traded Harden for him. Past decisions should not effect current/future decisions.

You don't even know what his salary is or what the tax implications will be yet.

He already admitted he didn't watch Grant this past year.

I think there's a solid chance that Michael Porter ends up making the first few teams seem silly for passing on him.

It’s definitely possible but I wouldn’t blame GMs for wanting to go with a safer pick.

Safe is silly IMO if you are one of the top 6 or so (maybe you could make the case for safe pick for Memphis). But no one on the Suns, Kings, Hawks, Mavericks, or Magic is a star (Booker is closest). Also all those teams lack high end talent, so I’d easily go all in with a less safer option like Porter.

Philly did it with Embiid. The Bucks are regretting passing on him for Parker. You are picking that high for a reason. Swing for the fences and if you miss you'll get more chances. I think the only person I would take over Porter is Doncic. If teams pass on Porter for Jackson and Bagley I think they will regret it. I can understand taking Ayton over Porter, although I don't think I would.

This draft is stacked in the top 7-8 players. You can pass on porter an still get an allstar. If he’s still available around 7-10 then it’s a different story.
