JDub went from my favorite Thunder player 2 years ago to my most hated Thunder player and now I don't know how to feel. Gonna wait how this season ends but kudos to him. Need him to keep playing at his own pace and not rush things.

Presti hates JDub. He plays him out of position and puts him in terrible situations. If you believe a 6'5 player should be banging in the paint you hate the team and the player.

or maybe it was a genius move to make JDub playing the 4 on defense but you hate Presti too much

He should be a small ball 4.. but seems to be playing too much time there as a full time 4.

I’m not sure how much of this is by design or by personnel needs .

If IH is center for 24-30mins , it means Chet is centre for 18-24 mins with 6-18 mins at PF … that means a whole lot of PF minutes still available and Jdub taking a bulk of those.

Where slick when I need him to tell me how much of Jdub minutes is at PF ?

If you actually look at dub's playoffs he's playing pretty much at the same level as he was in the regular season, he's just upped the 3 point volume slightly and been burned by shooting variance
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Jdub is playing at the 4 more than 80% of his playing time yeah (close to 90%). He's doing so well at it with such a wingspan and his speed. Can't blame him or Chet for Siakam to perform because he's that good.

Cleaning the glass has him at pf 54% of his minutes this season (and 8% at center).

It may not be best for him individually, but it is best for us with what we want to do on defense.

yeah but the inconsistency with JDub is always that he struggles when he attacks barely on his speed and he's amazing when he takes advantage of his strength to go at the rim or find good midrange shot. In some games it looks like he wants to run like Westbrook and end up missing lay ups.

one more to go...the most difficult one. Damn the Pacers are good I didn't think we would have such a tough series after beating Denver. Kudos to them.

I prefer him rim running rather than taking contested middies. He does get out of control at times, but the percentages are what they are and he makes nearly 70% of his shots at the rim. I think the issue is the ones he misses often look UGLY.

Positive vibes again.

Wiggins delivered abit today.
Defence was somewhat ok to good/great when it was a necessity.
SGA is SGA but today doesn’t feel like one of his better games.
Chet is contributing on the defensive end but need him to work on his offense and build / size in the offseason.
JDub really improve game by game every series. So 50 points game next please ?
Role players rolling abit but it’s clear we need some offense there or consistent contributors from all of them (7-12 points each from 3-4 of them I guess)

Maybe daig did the right thing trusting his rotation today. I’m not sure .

Still waiting to see some Jaylin minutes.

Tonight was special. But only if we win one of the next two. I would love to see a much better performance than game six at Denver.

Want them to be at full strength? How many times were you dropped on your head as an infant? I want their entire starting lineup to be out for game 6.

There is going to be a game 7. Just like the Denver series. Brace yourself.

I know this logically, but currently I can do that thing you do when you but a lottery ticket. You know it's not going to win, but you still have that tiny sliver of hope in the back of your mind.

somehow I feel it might be more difficult to win game 7 than a game on the road. I just don't like how our team play under pressure. This was a masterclass from JDub but we weren't far from another come back from the Pacers.

They have won every must win game in the playoffs. They are the ONLY team to beat Indy in back-to-back games. Stop crying and enjoy this.

Only once, but it was from a great height.

It felt like they still did not handle adversity well coming in to the playoffs, there was definitely some frontrunner tendencies. the Denver series really did change that, I think that's the 'growing up' that actually happened.

Sounds like a few people in my family. I wouldn't trust them to solve the square root of four. Yes, somehow, one of them got an engineering degree and the other ended up an airborne ranger. Not going to disrespect either of those professions. I never fell on my head. Did a decent amount of damage to my ankle, legs, back, etc. but the head, and IQ I am very disrespectful of remained intact.

I’m not too proud to accept a championship on any terms.

To be fair , other than this playoff , we only had last playoff performance to judge them.
