I hate the Thunder. I don't care about all the other crap.

We're not resting anyone, then in my mind, we're trying our hardest. We just got beat by one of the worst teams in he league.

I hate this team. Just lose in the 1st round to a team who, on paper, shouldn't ever be able to stay within 15 points of you, because I'm sick and tired of being disappointed in the most depressing iteration of the Thunder.

I got back to about an hour ago...

Why in the hell can't we beat the Kings? They're terrible!!!

Russ with 8 and KD with 5 turnovers .

KD couldn't make a thing after the 3rd quarter. Ibaka missing wide open 3s.

We aren't winning **** unless Morrow, Payne, and maybe Huestis **** play. Get Singler Waiters and Foye the **** out of here.

That call was a load of crap. It was an awful call that was a makeup call for the Westbrook 3-shot foul the play before. Thing is, Westbrook obviously got fouled and was at least, sorta kinda, in the act of shooting. It wasn't the greatest call to reward him with three FTs, but it wasn't a terrible call, either. I don't know what the **** the refs saw that resulted in sending Gay to the FT line with one second to go.

I'm not sure what seed they are because I'm not really a hockey fan. But even if they're a 7-seed, I'd shave more faith in them making the ECF or the Stanley Cup Finals than I do the Thunder in making the WCF or the NBA Finals. I've been a pretty diehard fan of my teams for about 20 years, now, and I ca't recall a team being more of a disappointing, frustrating letdown than the Thunder this year. There are some Braves teams over the years that had some pretty bad burnouts in the playoffs, but the MLB playoffs are a crapshoot anyway so I was able to cope and get over it pretty quickly. The Colts this past season were close, but I figured out about 8-9 games into the season, that even if Luck was healthy, we'd lose something like 45-14 in the wildcard or divisional round, anyway.

The Thunder this year, have been more disappointing on a more consistent basis than any of my other favorite teams...ever. From Durant and Westbrook's inability to take are of the ball and Donovan's stupidity and insistence on playing Waiters, Foye, and Singler when we've got 2-3 better bench options (Payne, Morrow and maybe Huestis) that get virtually zero PT...this team has been a colossal **** up and a colossal disappointment more often than not this season.

Sadly I can't disagree, and they're the 8 seed. They're basically the equivalent of the Blazers season in the NHL, a young team, everyone thought would be bad, a ROY candidate overachieving in a rebuild. OKC is inconsistent, more experienced but still young, and poorly coached. You can blame the handful of bad players, Singler, Dion, and Foye playing as normal terribly. And for that you'd have the normal KD leaving panic. But he and Russ were just as bad. The infuriating thing is how poorly coached the team is. Yeah, a rookie coach, but anyone can see Kyle's an awful awful player. I honestly couldn't bring myself to watch a lot of it and was score watching because I'd turn it on, see Singler F something up and get mad.

I'm watching hockey highlights hopefully tonight, and I highly recommend playoff hockey. Fun stuff.

We need to stop going with the 'defensive' lineup down the stretch, it kills us every goddamn time. Roberson and Adams are great through most the game but as soon as they come back in during the 4th we always start playing like arse.

KD and WB trust Kanter and Morrow in the clutch, they don't trust Roberson or Adams at all and thats why we stop moving the ball.

They were losing with Kanter and Waiters in there.

Meh, known issues. We'll play better in the playoffs with less bench minutes.

We'll also get destroyed by SAS.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Out of every lineup with at least 40 minutes this season (14), the Durant vanity project is

-Last in TO Ratio
-5th last in ORtG
-Last in DRtG
-Last in NetRtG
-2nd last in AST/TO Ratio
-4th last in TRB%

This is gonna kill us in the playoffs. If your coach says he has to get Kyle Singler going, you know you're in deep trouble.

80th game in the season and the coach is still talking about getting Singler going... Hard not to think he's not gonna be part of our playoff rotation.

So at this point assuming a 8/9 man rotation we have the starters + Dion (definitely getting more minutes than Robes), Kanter, Singler and maybe Nick or Foye. Almost every single guy coming off the bench won't be used to unlock any good lineups and will only result in worsening the net rating a lot.

I have no doubt Russ is gonna play out of his mind and KD might even stop coasting during the playoffs, but jesus chris we're not doing our guys any favors with this supporting cast. We might take a game off SA if KD reaps, but there's no way we're clutch enough to steal the series and even less chance we blow them out.

Out of the 225 lineups with at least 70 minutes played this season, the No-PG-Bench lineup has the 5th worst NetRtG. To put this into perspective: We were complaining about the all-bench-lineup earlier this season, inserted Durant and got worse by 5 NetPts.

Magnificent job, Donovan. Not even Brooks would be this stupid.

How does this even happen? We inserted KD for the point guard didn't we? We must be making the dumbest decisions of all playoff teams.

Under Brooks' tenure, the worst NetRtG any lineup with at least 70 mins had was -13.6 in 2014. Other than that season, it never got worse than -7.9 and that was our injury season last year.
In 2013, there wasn't any lineup with at least 70 mins with a negative NetRtG. NONE!

This year: Two lineups with a worse NetRtG than -19.

The roster may suck, but it's on the coach to do the best with what he's given and Donovan is incapable of that. We're 80 games into the season and our coach is talking about getting a guy going that hadn't hit a 3 in almost a month and hasn't been a decent player since he left Detroit. My goodness.

Which is why I'm not harping on the roster issues, its the coach.
