It's because we're getting Mobley

Do we have zero centers, then?

Possibly Muscala if he comes back.

Muscala's going to be our locker room vet, Roby will play some minutes there, and then whoever we draft will get the bulk.

Sounds like a way to get “sources”

One of Mobley/Sengun/Kai Jones/Garuba. No brainer which one we want

I’m going with mamu or petrusev with pick 55

That doesn't necessarily mean, that Bradley will not be back. If OKC takes the qualifying offer for him, the have to pay him 5,3 Mio. that's definitely to much for him. But I see him signing a contract like Noel did a few years ago. +- 2,0 Mio per year.

I also hope, they keep Muscala, not only for the lockerroom but also as a good player. Last season he had some great games, and he will play for little money.

If we don't get Mobley or Sengun in the draft, OKC must try to sign J.Allen from the Cavs (restricted free-agent) or R.Holmes from the Kings.

However we have much room in salary at this moments, and only rookies will not change this situation.

J.Allen is young and could be a peace for years. I would like to see him in OKC.

The issue OKC has to decide before making a splash FA signing is if they want to compete or not. My guess is that they don’t spend money on FAs, but rather absorb salary from teams wanting to shed salary for assets. The perfect example of this is Favors from Utah. You also likely get pick 30 and a future minimal asset.

The reason you don’t extend the qualifying offer to Bradley is that he can sign the qualifying offer and lock in the 5 million plus. OKC likely wants/needs that extra five million to facilitate trades.

Curious to see who they're pushing so hard to move up even further from 10 for, Clarke doesn't seem a fit with us or the Magic but maybe the Warriors/Kings would be interested

I’ve heard giddey but Wagner makes some sense. He’s been mocked to the kings and is rising. Seems like he would fit well in Memphis.

Wagner or Moody makes sense, one of those two will drop to them for sure if they stay at 10. The Giddey talk is a bit confusing, his lack of shooting doesn't pair well with Ja and I'm worried he'll have the same issues in the half court that Lonzo did in LA and NOLA before he fixed his shot.

Fischer also mentioned a swap of #16/#18 for #11. That made sense to me. Anyone have thoughts on that? Worth it or not?

If we can’t move up from six, I’m all for it. Or maybe combine 6 and 11 to get to four? Probably need to add more, in my opinion.

Read a rumor we want to pair SGA with Sexton, i think we dont get the 3 pick from cavs, if we take sexton, maybe we take kuminga or barnes ? Also we need a center

Several places (not sure how much I trust them) are saying OKC is a possible destination for Sexton.

I’ve been on record as wanting Sexton. He and SGA would be killer, I think. I also believe they’re friends.

As we get closer, I’d prefer to keep the sixth pick tho. Wouldn’t want to give it up for Sexton. But, maybe we combine 16/18, get 11, then swap 11 for Sexton.

If we do that, then we’re not using our cap space this off-season. Save it for next.

Supposedly Morey has been asking for an insane package for Simmons so far, seems like something's going to give soon though

Also - where do we want news of opposing teams trades/free agent signings to go since that'll start to fly in the next day or so? Here or Around the NBA thread?

This really says it all. OKC would be fools to trade Shai for any type of pick package right now.
