I'm guessing the rule doesn't apply to coaches leaving the bench? Surprised Boylen didn't get anything for pulling Grant away.

I hope this doesn't put Schroder at risk of losing his Lamborghini. How can they just suspend players without thinking of their financial needs! Forget the bigger picture of OKC needing Schroder to try to win basketball games they need to take care of the players who have proven over the years to be incompetent with money so they need as much as they can get. They should really double all ticket prices so they can increase payer play. Losing over $100K is no joke! We need to take better care of our celebrity gods who teach us things that schools and government cover up like the earth is flat and man has never stepped on the moon! We also should consider appointing them straight into political positions when their sports careers are over. We know they are clearly superior to us and we should let them make the important decisions for us.

If you are trying to take that literally because you can't tell it is sarcasm blame your parents for failing your educational needs.

The fact that you found it necessary to add that disclaimer speaks volumes.

I used to work for the government on DoD contracts. I have seen how truly stupid people can be and still make $200K+/yr. I don't believe there is a limit on human stupidity.

With Donovan locked in for another year would it be worth picking up an assistant coach like Ty Lue to help deal with one of Donovan's biggest flaws - in game adjustments/timeouts?

That’s one thing I think Dononvan has been really good at this year. When teams start to make a run or we get off to a bad start, he’ll call a quick time out.

Paul George is now 1st in RPM wins.

tough schedule @utah, wolves and @houston. Utah is playing better and Houston is finally playing well. Guess winning 2 of these 3 games would be REALLY good. Think 1-2 is most probable though.

i appreciate westbrook trying to do other things, but we're not going to go anywhere with him at 49% ts and shooting 60% from the line and 24% from three while still carrying 30% usage.

Yeah he's gotten better, he still has games where he regresses and calls timeouts that favor the opponent and sends out weird lineups.

Pretty much me getting paranoid that he's going to regress to how he's been for us in the past - especially if it happens around the playoffs

Wish they could get Monty Williams back.

I know I'm feeding it but couldn't help.

Westbrook has 4+ steals in 5 straight games. The last time it happened was 2003. The player?

Spoiler:
Baron Davis

this was during baron davis' 2003-04 season. which is, incidentally, a strong comp for westbrook as a scoring so far:

A lot of praise for Russ. I like it because it will leave certain people fuming ( ), but it's a little premature. He needs to score for this team to anywhere in the Playoffs and his defense has not been there all the time either. A couple of games of good effort defensively is not real change, yet.

EDIT: I just saw that Russ is leading the league in DBPM.

FWIW: cleaningtheglass.com now has us with the 2nd best non-garbage-time NetRtG at +7.8 and projects us with the most wins in the league. :o

I agree that he adjusted and is playing better defensively. I just can’t get over the shooting woes. Maybe the impact of them isn’t as great as it seems but it’s mind boggling.

Not suprised at all. When i saw the Schroder and Noel aquisitons i said to my friends this is a top 2 or 3 team in the league. Outside of GS, any team would have a hard time beating this team in a 7 games series. With healthy Roberston, i would even dare to say that they could take down the Warriors as well. These puss***ies, for all their greatness, does not know what a great defense looks like. Rockets were the only ones playing great and tough defense on them last year, and it took a Chris Paul injurie for them to advance.

But with that being said, most wins won't happen. This is a team that just gets too in love with themselves and will get lazy in ceratin periods of the season which will cause them losing many games they shouldn't be losing.

It begs the question.. would Russ be playing this well in other areas if he was shooting well? Or is it because he sucks at shooting now that hes attempting to make up for it with other things?

To be honest i think this Russ is what we okc fans have wanted for years. He seems to be trusting his team mates alot now. Im not too upset with the shooting woes as it may regulate his attempts and actually force him to set up better shots through the starters
