Holy ****. This is extremely disappointing on many levels, but there is a certain air of excitement to it. I don't expect Russ to stay, and I don't believe the rebuild will be as easy and quick as many believe, but we did need a massive overhaul of some type. This was brought about by presti's failures, and I'll never be that bullish on picks that likely don't amount to anything, but value wise it's the best haul we were ever going to get.

Also, now follow up moves are guaranteed. No way we pay the tax without pg.

Sorry man. I’m not sure Presti goes in to full rebuild. I would be surprised if he uses some of the 87 picks to acquire young talent.

Four unprotected picks for Andrew Wiggins.

It sucks for you guys to lose PG, but that haul is huge. And potentially you could always dump guys like Gallo and Adams for more picks, it management decides for a rebuild. Early thoughts have been Russ to Miami, but that could be crap

By the way, I called a SGA, Gallo and Miami pick for George for weeks. Didn’t expect Presti to get everything else.

I don't believe Morey would be interested in Russ. Does not fit that profile at all.

Yea despite me being on team rebuild, it’s kind of a weird feeling in a sad way.

I'm not even upset about losing George, I'm upset about what it means for Russ.

So the assistants probably knew something was up then?

Oh I am very upset. This all could have been avoided.

I’ve said all along, I don’t think these types of moves are made with Russ in the dark. Maybe russ wants out.

I wonder if we could get a similar haul of picks by sending Russ to Washington and taking the massive albatross that is wall.

I'd bet he does. But that's because of losing PG, which was caused to a large extent by presti's failures.

It could've, but that ball started rolling several years ago.

Fan theory: Kevin love for Dre/Schroder/grant and a pick.

Paul George doesn't get traded if he doesn't want traded. That's just an NBA truth.
