Re: Thunder Offseason Thread
Please stop with the depresion, this is a heist.
Even if all the picks are around 20 (which wont, Clippers are gonna last for 2 to 3 years max, Miami's is fairly uncertain), we got SGA and Gallo which still has a value, as a player or as a tradeable asset.
I know we all enjoyed PG in his prime, but this current roster wasnt going the right way. So this still is a either controlable retool or a great start to a rebuild.
Donovan's chance to prove that superstars gutted him ...

“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

There's room to be both excited and disappointed.

Also, clippers are a great example of why tanking isn't necessary or necessarily the best course.

Agreed. It’s what I wanted but don’t want to be a troll for those who are disappointed. It’s going to be interesting when Presti speaks about this.

Oh well, I'm sad to see PG13 leaving but that's the trade I asked 2 days ago because I think that's the right decision for OKC to go.
Just hope no issues between Russ and PG13 because Russ tried his best (even if he's screwed with his bad knees)

I really really like SGA. It feels like for-never since we've had a guy that knew how to create contact and finish through it.

I would too. Future NBA Superstar Shai gilgeous-alexander is not available.

Leave this here then stop posting links. I'm excited for a rebuild, one that I hope is more team oriented with high IQ guys.

The kid is really good at a lot of things. He's a point guard that can shoot. And don't think for a second that his 6'11" wingspan didn't factor into presti's decision.

Build the team the right way and we can win. Presti isn't a gm who does everything wrong. He has proven that we can recruit and retain stars in a small market franchise. What he is also proven is if when you get them you don't get the right players and coach around them, then its a waste.

His change of pace is amazing. He's the anti Russ in the way he gets to the basket, but it leaves him in a lot easier finishing positions.

Adams trade value going up a little bit since we have no hurry to trade him.
Westbrook trade value going even lower
Grant on trading block?

Re: Thunder Offseason Thread
Do we trade westbrook or try to get beal and k love , do we get rid of Billy Donovan and get a new coach , are we keep making moves , do we trade schroder and bring SGA from the bench or do we start him in front of Ferguson? West, SGA, Gallinari, Grant, Adams or West, Ferguson , Gallinari, Grant , Adams. Also are we out of the tax ?

Kid is insanity for a combo guard. Can pass dribble defend and play p&r at an acceptable NBA level already. He showed glimpses of shooting. Just hope our turds of coaching staff dont f this kid up and he stands in a corner ...

Adams is still young and we are going to have a ton of rookie contracts on the books the next few years if we trade russ. I'm curious to see what Adams looks like on a team that doesn't ignore him for three quarters. I'm not saying he's an all star and still isn't overpaid but he might be worth keeping around, especially if we re-sign him to a more reasonable contract next time.
