The real problem is that the opposing team makes adjustments at half time and the Thunder don’t seem to be able to come up with an effective counter punch. That is a fixable problem.

So is chucking bad shots but we haven’t really seen much evidence of that improving.

Russ and Melo are for a lack of a better word, just that, chuckers when the going gets tough. Did you just now realize this? They are who they are, for better or worse. Why does this surprise anyone?

Actually that is the players default response because, in my opinion, the coaching staff has not developed an effective counter punch. That is a fixable problem.

the final shot was idiotic of course, but anthony + westbrook were 1-11 in the final four minutes with paul george not even attempting a shot. and westbrook's defense in 4q was ridiculously bad on pick and rolls.

this is just another example of the team under westbrook's leadership not valuing possessions and (in my opinion) being over-confident in their 'ability' to win games in the 'clutch'. i honestly believe westbrook doesn't think the game matters until the fourth quarter. the way the defense played overall even a decent game on offense and this is a comfortable win. we ended up with another close game because there were just so many wasted possessions on offense via careless turnovers, bad shots, etc.
