The real problem is that the opposing team makes adjustments at half time and the Thunder don’t seem to be able to come up with an effective counter punch. That is a fixable problem.

So is chucking bad shots but we haven’t really seen much evidence of that improving.

Russ and Melo are for a lack of a better word, just that, chuckers when the going gets tough. Did you just now realize this? They are who they are, for better or worse. Why does this surprise anyone?

Did I say I just realized this? Actually I said just the opposite. You said the lack of adjustments is a fixable problem. I said it’s unlikely to be fixed because we don’t take good shots. Our ineffective counter punch is just simply chucking shots, which you admit is intrinsic to the very nature of two of our three main players.

PG at the lowest draw rate of his career, Russ and Melo both 2nd lowest for theirs. Everybody is just chucking from outside.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

We know damn well what you would say.

Likewise. Keep drinking the Kool Aid.

You probably wouldn’t use that idiom if you knew where it came from.

Actually that is the players default response because, in my opinion, the coaching staff has not developed an effective counter punch. That is a fixable problem.

I can't believe that after everything we've seen you can't believe he's that dumb.

What options did he have? We knew he was going to shoot that no matter what. 1 for 9 from 3. That was the look we wanted. Get this idiot out of here.

the final shot was idiotic of course, but anthony + westbrook were 1-11 in the final four minutes with paul george not even attempting a shot. and westbrook's defense in 4q was ridiculously bad on pick and rolls.

this is just another example of the team under westbrook's leadership not valuing possessions and (in my opinion) being over-confident in their 'ability' to win games in the 'clutch'. i honestly believe westbrook doesn't think the game matters until the fourth quarter. the way the defense played overall even a decent game on offense and this is a comfortable win. we ended up with another close game because there were just so many wasted possessions on offense via careless turnovers, bad shots, etc.

Come on man, ease up. It’s a common phrase that’s not used to denote suicide, just going along with something blindly. Are you going to bash kids that sign ring around the Rosie for supporting pestilence?
