Everybody else on both teams sucked even worse.

He does otherthings than shoot.

And despite what coach nick says the stagnant offense isn't because of him standing offball, when everyone else does the same. Man I hate BBB. Such trash.

He's been waiting for this season since he started.

Unreal to me people eat it up.

Russ doesn't set screens for Melo, doesn't move off ball....wait does anyone move? Did KD move? I'm baffled as to how he comes up with this crap and has a job.

Just checked the boxscore. What an awful shooting percentage by Russ. Unbelievable! I like the low turnovers though.

What a sh***y season this has been so far. And I‘m afraid it will go on like this as long as Billy is HC. Disgusting.

Could we one day have a league where Melo plays Jell-O?

It's a G like in gif.
And no, he has no shot at the nba. Wouldn't even be talked about if his last name was different.

(Also, I pronounce gif jif, but I love this joke too much.)

I cant get over what slow learners these guys are. Billy/Russ/Melo
Its like they just think these games are one off bad ones and they will shoot themselves back into form.
This type of play started in game 1 and is still happening in game what 26?!
Adams again a huge factor on offense then goes missing in the 4th and OT because no one thinks he should have the ball for some reason.
We maybe the most predictable team in the entire league. Opponents know all they need to do is get Russ mad and watch him jack up brick after brick. They know that there maybe a little ball movement in the 1st and MAYBEEE the 2nd, then it will be all about the stars chucking up contested, ill advised shots.
If i was Sam i would be having serious talks to Billy. If he is too scared to tell these guys to stop doing what their doing, then he may need to hire someone that will. The recipe this team continues to use is not going to work. we are almost a 3rd of the season in and things look AWFUL.

good to see Abrines showing life

7-10 FG 6-8 3PT 20 PTS 4 REBS 2 STLS +7

They desperately need him to be a contributor. Maybe the awfulness of the bench was holding him back. :dontknow:

I created a thread about a month ago on why we stop going to Adams in the 3rd and 4th quarter so can someone please, seriously tell me why we do? I knew he wasn’t going to get a single look down the home straight today, and sure enough he didn’t.

We've only ever allowed our stars to take shots down the stretch of games. Ibaka used to get frozen out too.

It's mind boggling lol. He could be averaging 20 easily if we played the same way we do in the first quarter.

He's not a guy you draw stuff up for.

Oh and ftr Russ's rebounding is to get him looks on fast breaks.

as big as an early december game against a **** team can be. abrines saved okc with his threes. melo not out of his shootingslump, but he played very good d and was active on the boards. russ with strong 14 assists, but man... how can such a talented player make such terrible decisions over and over again.

So yeah....

This team just has no discipline. It really is amazing that they are able to struggle at almost anything at any given time. Adams and Robes are about the only guys who constantly do what they're supposed to do. Defensively, they're in danger of having to guard 3 guys at once because their teammates don't stick with their man. Offensively, they're doing their best of scoring efficiently.
Adams has been our best player this season and it's honestly not that close. He's leading the team in TS% and WS/48 by a huge margin. Our offense last night only got better once we started including him.

Russ is just beyond trash. Somedboy needs to tell him to cut this **** out. It's embarassing and it is killing us. And he's not just doing stuff on offense - his undisciplined behaviour on defense is hurting us as well. He stole a rebound from Patterson by flying into him which lead to a Memphis score iirc. We can't have that. He was too lazy to guard the Grizzlies' scrubs down the stretch and we had him against Gasol and Adams out on the wing. Can't have that either.

Over the last two, Russ and Melo have combined for 14/39 from midrange and 5/28 from 3. We have attempted a total of 5 corner 3s.

Billy clearly doesn't have control over this team. And he obviously has lost his mind. We ran isolations for **** Kyle Singler two games in a row. It's like he is always trying to find new ways to get fired, but Presti just won't bite.
"I don't know of any player that, when the shot goes up, he doesn't want it to go in," Donovan said
