He said that on the air?

this was the exact quote: “The Rockets are playing like someone slit their wrists and put them in a warm bath.”

he had to apologize.

Hopefully that injury to Brewer was just a mild hyperextension and ends up being a sprain not a tear. I would imagine if he was walking around after the game that he's ok. They are going nowhere without him in the playoffs and he has made the team way better than they ever were with Roberson since he not only gives them good defense but is doubling his scoring output and forces teams to actually guard him. There's not going to be any teams sending Brewer to the free throw line like Houston did Roberson in last year's playoffs where he went 3-21 and singlehandedly lost game 4 going 2-12. We will see an even bigger difference in the postseason than the regular season in what it means to have a competent two way player at shooting guard in the starting slot and Utah won't be able to use Brewer's defender to play free safety and double team or just clog the lane like Roberson would allow them to do. They have a good chance to get past Utah.

Good relevant, researched post.

Traumatic brain injury is the only explanation.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Consistency is key.
