Can't read all article but not sure it's worth it. I guess some reporters are being way too opportunistic (which doesn't mean they are wrong). Anyway that's their job.

Wish there were more objective/neutral journalism following NBA teams. They are either trying to make a name and say some things 5 years later when they are out or saying only good things about the organization in order to keep their jobs.

do you only value the opinions of people who are correct 100% of the time? i don't think anyone would disagree that darnell's precise ranking of the thunder's short and long term prospects is more than a bit gracious. and i don't think that ranking really matters in the service of the message he's trying to convey.

So you think he's right when he says they're treadmill but wrong when he directly contradicts that. OK. Have a nice day. Not doing this again, this is why I mostly stopped posting here.

watch out guys. if you say anything that isn't precisely correct or is contradictory in the slightest around bondom34, he will immediately de-value every opinion you have in principle.

I mean, no. But there's a reason I've avoided here . And it's not anyone else.

You can't post a paragraph saying he's "spitting hot fire" then dismiss when he directly contradicts that. But you win.

A top 5 roster that can't make it past game 5 in the first round. A top 5 roster shouldn't be that bad even with a toddler playing coach.

i'd rather you not avoid here, i enjoy you. but if you're gonna avoid here just avoid here and don't mention it every time we disagree on something! it gets old.

yes, i can post a paragraph from darnell's article that i agree with and dismiss a minor point of analysis i feel is incorrect. because, i did. he is wrong that the thunder have a top 5 roster. he is correct that we resemble a treadmill team. this is stupid. we probably agree on both those things.

Oh OK. So you can just pick and choose when someone directly contradicts themselves within minutes. Yes, this is stupid.

i don't think that contradiction de-values the point he is making much. you're pettifogging and creating an argument for no reason!

Russ sounds medicatedly-chill. I mean that as a good thing.

Paul said he has been dealing with the injury a long time, longer than the two months where he sat out three games but the thunder training staff told him he was ok to keep playing.

“Not sure” if he will be ready for preseason. Good lord this organization is something else.

Since we are built for the Playoffs, preseason doesn't matter.

Why does the 20 year old have to put pressure on the coach? Why isn't the coach pushing the 20 year old to develop and pushing him into a bigger role to see what he can handle? The 20 year old should not be coaching the team!!!

Because our coach is just a figurehead:

I know this sounds innocent, but it ties in nicely with this general vibe that Donovan seems to be taking the whole "player's coach" thing to the extreme. The team needs guidance. But it looks like the coach does as well.

That is because Presti has failed at his job. Donovan is a symptom of the Sam Presti disease. A new coach will be the same as Donovan and Brooks. The players will do what they want. The cure is to fire Presti. Sam Hinkie is the cure for OKC!
