At this point, I'd rather see the team finished 6th than 4th or 5th. It's more realistic, and honestly, gives us a better chance at retaining PG13. We have a better shot at beating the Rockets than the Warriors.

Every year we long for role players who really excel at important parts of basketball. Seems like we've finally done it!

So what? They can all jump really high!

If an average 3P shooter (I'm using BBR average 3P% for teams 36.1 %) had taken those 3s, our MOV would have jumped by 1.3. Based on Pyth W-L, that's the difference between 53.4 wins and 50.1 wins. And in the Playoffs, it might just be the difference between a series win and a series loss.
Imagine if we had had an actual NBA player instead of Randy Foye in the 2016 Playoffs. And Foye was probably still better than at least both Huestis and Ferguson.

the team starting ferguson after roberson was hurt has no explanation now that we know they weren't showcasing him.

Maybe they don't think that the 5th guy next to Russ-George-Melo-Adams actually matters?

My assumption was that they wanted to get him some experience for a few games and not risk injury to Alex before making their move. Then they didn't make a move

Rodney Hood looks pretty nice right now.

Just you wait! Ferguson may have missed his last 8 3-pointers and may be 13 for his last 54 from 3, but at some point, this will all have been worth it!

I like ferguson still, but hood is the guy I would've been willing to move him for. I think Utah just liked crowder too much.

That’s exactly how I feel about Hood. Although I’m thinking Presti wasn’t willing to move him for Hood.

Cleveland 3p %
Jose Calderon 45%
George Hill 45%
Rodney Hood 38%
Kevin Love 40%
Cedi Ossman 38%
Lebron James 36%
Jr Smith 36%
And one of their worse shooters is Jordan Clarkson who happens to be a scoring machine.

I wonder if playoff PG13 can offset the lack of good players on this team

If he and Russ both bring it o think we could win a series, after that it's all about making round 2 as competitive as possible.

Abrines is noticeably bigger than last year and ferguson isn't AS scrawny as he looks on TV.

"Bigger" as in "taller"?
