So what we know for certain is that it won't be Detroit or Miami

One thing I'm really looking forward to, assuming a young team lead by SGA, is the lack of posturing after every good play. Young guys proving themselves by hustling back on defense, something we haven't had a team fill of in 8+ years.

If they get rid of Grant's bum ass, I'll be driving this train for the rest of my life.

This is what I'm most excited about. Once they finally move Westbrook I think we'll finally see an offense built on player and ball movement.

Yes, just like we've seen that kind of offense every time Westbrook was on the bench. Oh the player and ball movement!

Excellent. I like that name more.

He then later in the pod referred to him as "SGA" (Because Horne had said that should be the nickname they use) and went on to say "Screen Actors Guild" (SAG - obviously). Maddie Lee started laughing at him and said, 'you're changing his name Shai Alexander.'

I'm also looking forward to people not pretending to act as tough Russ is a good dresser. He isn't. He looks ridiculous oftentimes. I don't care how much money some tool bag in Paris or Milan told him those get ups cost.

After looking at that a bit yesterday I sure hope its a three team or more trade with a pick or picks involved. I just don't like what either of those teams can do straight up.

ball movement is overrated. it's player movement that's important. westbrook doesn't move. he used to. other players do, even when he's on the bench.

it hasn't helped the bench b/c we have had one of the worst benches in the nba. but we all see what westbrook does when he doesn't have the ball the last few seasons.

Also even when he does move the defense doesn't have to stick with him on any action away from the rim. So if he makes a cut toward the three point line the defense is typically fine sagging off him since he can't shoot to save his life. THe result is a continually gummed up offense that looks stagnant almost no matter what play we're actually running.

Wherever Russ gets traded, I hope it happens soon. I can’t believe we won’t fully rebuild but I get anxious at the thought of Sam doing something stupid to run it back again because we can’t find a suitor.

If you look at his track record going back several years, Harden, Jackson, now George. When he's finally realized he's in a position that he's going to make a trade he seems to pull the trigger pretty quickly. Unless there's a reason (like waiting on someone who can't be traded until December 15) I bet he trades him in the next 3 weeks.

Assuming we go in to full rebuild, what happens with Gallinari? Do we keep him around next year because Presti fears having team that only 20 games? Do we keep him because he’s an expiring and that gives us more flexibility in the years to come? Is he the kind of guy that could be a mentor for younger guys? Do we trade him and take back bad salary for more assets? Does he have any value as he is now with his current contract?

For the most part, yeah. Melo took a little longer but Sam had a no trade clause to work with.

The worst part of trading Westbrook is , he is the face and our leader and thats a little sad and imagine he go to other team win and it was all coaching and team build, that we never put the correct pieces next to russ

I hope he'll come back one day. To retire as a Thunder, not somewhere else.
