He is a slightly more athletic JJ Redick with potential for better handles and finishing at the rim.

His offensive game will be legit. Hopefully he puts the time into working on his defense so he isn't too much of a liability on that end.

Are you sure he's not more like Manu? Or korver? He's gritty, with deceptive athleticism, a real gym rat, coaches kid, knows the game.

Can that be a reason , okc want Herro and miami dont want to give Herro but want Westbrook ? I prefer a lineup of sga, herro, ferguson, gallinari and adams bench schroder(dragic if we get him, moved schroder) diallo, roberson, darius bazley , muscala and noel

Imagine blowing all your assets, new and old, for a first round exit, at best! Then you get to start your rebuild in two years when Beal walks as a FA. I don't enjoy nightmares, but I can imagine that disaster. I'm not even sure OKC has the assets to get Washington to trad Beal. Kawhi told Toronto he wanted Beal or PG. Not sure if he told LAC the same, but if they went with the older player that is coming off having both shoulders surgically repaired and it out until December over Beal I have to assume the broken down aging player had a lower cost.

I know and I want Westbrook to win , but we know Presti and he can make some trades happen, and when you are expecting something he make a 180 turn and take other direction thags want worry me , if westbrook want to move, and we have a good prospect in SGA lets move on , maybe when his contract expired with whatever team we trade him , we can sign him again so he can retired here

Between you and Russ that makes one of you. The other one wants him to chase stats and rack up individual glory.

I was going to say he reminded me of Booker a bit but I didn't want to engage in a lazy comp what with them both being UK Wildcats.

I just read that SGA and Diallo both started their whole freshman season at Kentucky together. And made it to the to the sweet 16. I did not realize that.

Watched the replay of our game from today. Got to see a bit more of Bazley this time. At the risk of jinxing him I gotta say I think the kid may have cost himself some significant money skipping the platform that major college competition would have given him. He is real smooth and fluid with the ball and the physical tools are impressive. The shot is notably absent, but against college kids with all his other skills and the hype train coming into school as a McDonald's All American in the first place I think there's a decent chance he would have been a mid-late lottery selection.

Looks like Presti is holding out for a haul. Good for him.

That is beautiful news! Now, when it actually gets time to make the deal I expect Presti to let Riley keep Winslow. I also think that Russ being involved in the negotiations helps because his ego will be telling Riley that he is worth all of that and then some and that getting him will be like when he got LeBron.

good joke. Presti must be trying to get something but best case scenario would be bam and a 2nd IMO.

Herro dream scenario (won't happen except if we give up something else)

I don't want Winslow. He doesn't fit our rebuild timeline. Prefer some pick then.

My eagerness to get Herro is heightened by years of average to below average shooters. SGA and Herro backcourt feels and looks like one built for the modern NBA.

I hope Presti pushed Miami by the wall. Give Herro for RW.

We dont need to rush for a trade.

Could see Presti waiting a long time before pulling the trigger. Still don't think we will get Herro though.

Starting next year with SGA/Herro would be nuts.

Imagine those two with plethora of picks, additioned by healthy Dre, Gallo and Adams.
Competitive basketball next year, with I hope Donovan finally showing his magic touch.

The issue with each summer league performance Herro has, his stock keeps rising.

I agree although lately people have been talking about herro like he’s Zion. Nice prospect but he was the 13th pick in a weak draft.
