Rumor is Klay tore his Achilles. Does the warriors from office panic and change their draft plans?

You’d imagine it would have to factor into their thinking.

Draft day injury. That’s dramatic as hell.

Aside from the whole Durant thing, I really like the warriors. This sucks for bball fans.

Plus I was rooting for them to push the clippers down even further.

Totally on point.
As I see it, if Presti is building a destructive machine ready to assault 2021 Draft in berserk mode... Ricky Rubio makes no sense at all.

But let's summarize this:

RR-SGA-Papi-Dominican Gramps-Aquaman (plus Dort and Blazey plus Gallo being yet unclear stuff)

You just can't get the lottery with that, let alone Top-3 picks.
No way.
You should shoot them in the knees and play the bench.

So:

1) Most of these guys will be traded asap (probably RR too) in exchange of younlings, picks and swaps.
2) Presti is not intending to tank at all. He's ready to risk the No Man's Land in order to fight for 8th seed.

Please, spare me the develope/re-build/re-tool/remake, reboot or spin-off narrative.
We're grown ass people, here.

Either 1) or 2).

I have a general question to anyone kind enough to answer:

Someboy puts his money on 2)?

If I had to guess I would say number 1. I’ll feel more confident in my answer by Saturday. Presti is a hard one to predict.

General consensus seems to be him/Oubre aren’t long for the roster, but we thought that last year regarding CP3. It feels different this year, though. Al is the only long term contract and he doesn’t impact winning as much as CP3. Rehab his value if possible, but if he has to age out until he’s expiring, he’s a good vet to have around. Aside from that, it seems like Adams, Rubio, and Oubre should be sold for parts just to make sure we have the assets to get who we want long term next year.

Yep... I've noticed that yet (Presti being hard to decipher, I mean).

I often open a thread of Ricky Rubio's fantrolls at the boards of the teams he plays for... but I guess I'll wait 'til the waters clears up to do so.

Anyway as long RR is under contract with OKC, you'll have me roaming around.

Addedit: LaMelo joins Jordan, I see... expectable.

Surprised we have to give up 25 + 28, seems heavy

That seems pretty good for Minnesota.

yeah looks terrible for us. Guess all leverage with Minnesota and that's the price to pay to get the player we want.

Giving up 25+34 is closer to fair value (and still good for the wolves)

I’m a bulls fan, and I thought Deni was likely gonna be the guy. There were rumors last night he was the pick. He’s an interesting athlete. Doesn’t seem particularly skilled. Had a late growth spurt. Maybe he adds an inch or two and then it’s a whole different position and story. But yeah....it’s a strange pick as is.

I’m just glad it wasn’t ball. Counting anyone aside from him as a win.

Guess the S&T ideas about Gallo are dead if Wolves/Thunder are talking about that kind of deal

Rumors about some Gallo S&T to Dallas for #18 (but most are saying Gallo to the Hawks so...)
