Whats the rule on buy out players? As long as they are not on someones roster by March 1 then they are available to play on the playoff roster?

Afaik they need to be signed by March 1st in order to be able to play in the Playoffs.

You sure about that? Haven't there been guys from China that have came after their season was over to play in the NBA playoffs?

I'm telling you he's going to be a monster from outside when he comes back in March. All these setbacks were a coverup so that he could work on his shot more, without the stress of the fans booing on the road. He's gaining confidence and draining them by the dozens now. He's going to be back in March guaranteed and he's going to be putting up 15 a game on 40% from 3 while locking down KD in the WCF. Book it.

So basically you are saying that Roberson will be a better version of Klay Thompson (elite defense and 40% from 3) ?

It's a little sad that I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not.

Last four games oncourt team DRtG:

Nader 92.4
Morris 100.0
Noel 106.3
Grant 116.5
Adams 117.0
Ferguson 123.3

i'm about 80/20 that roberson's career is effectively over. he's 1+ years removed from playing in a game, with multiple surgeries on an injury that is commonly a career killer even when there are no complications. he'll get back on the court at some point most likely imo but will not be close to the same ever again.

and it's too bad because his presence is missed more and more. the starters are now allowing 100.1pp100 on the year, 6pp100 worse than the starters containing andre roberson last season-- and that lineup had carmelo anthony in it. i don't think the team is a bottom 8-10 defense as they've shown the last 20-25 games but the more this goes on the more that middle ground inches closer to league average.

Russ sucked last night but his athleticism is definitely back (not 100% but he's in good shape). We need Adams to rest a month and a miracle (a semi-healthy Roberson). Don't believe this is going to happen but that's pretty much all we need in order to go to the WCF.

We need NADER in the starting lineup. He's the only lockdown guy we have.

I'd feel more optimistic if the organization itself weren't acting as though they are moving on as well. Acquiring tons of wings. Never even mentioning Roberson's recovery anymore.

I’d give up a ton to get Marcus Smart on this team.

Even more on his crazy good contract. He would be a great fit to our team even if he's not a great 3 point shooter.

Only way to have a shot to get him would be for the Celtics to keep Kyrie and trade for AD though :(

Portland winning at Boston...they are on fire right now. Given our tough schedule is fair to say that they are favored to get the 3rd seed :(

No way. We're more likely to get second than POR third. We almost won against DEN@ DEN with PG shooting like trash, Ferg being in foul trouble and Morris still acclimating.

Russ's shot has come back. He's been super efficient since the ASB. PG will (hopefully) get back to shooting like did before the break. Morris has shown he's already better than 2Pat and he's still getting in to shape and learning the scheme. Ferg needs to clean up his defense, but we're ready to go.

We're going to spank 76ers tonight and start a new streak.

If somehow Denver has a bad end of regular season (let's say they are going to win 12 and lose 10, which is pretty bad for a .700 team) we would need to win 17 and lose 5 games. Good luck with that.

New streak of how many wins considering we are going to play @Spurs, @Portland, @Utah and the Warriors in the next 10 games?
