Guess that's why OKC asked so much to Miami. Thought was fake report but may be true.

I have been defending Westbrook's honor for a week now. It's time to defend CP3's. People acting like he's dust. Just look at his numbers with and without Harden. He can still play. His contract sucks but doesn't mean he can't help a team like Minnesota, for example.

Could have made a 3 team deal though. Anyway we will see...

It's a surreal moment.

I mean, if they wanted to give us that poo poo platter of Dragic, Waiters and James Johnson now that we've got our 2 firsts I'd actually be pretty much okay with it.

That would be perfect we can then trade dragic in the deadline for even more asseta it would be funny if we have 4 to 5 picks in one draft

That is Presti acknowledging that he knows Russ will sink Houston. Houston is now capped as a first round exit. They could easily miss the playoffs in '20-'21 with a 31 year old Harden trying to carry the load.

Did I miss something, I heard Paul had some issues at the end with the Clippers and he and Harden didn't get along great but you all are making it out like he's Jay Cutler or something. Is he that bad?

Doesn't really make sense at all. Noel is part of the core? Those 8 picks are nice but they aren't going to be anything reliable for at least the short term. Chris Paul doesn't really have that kind of shelf life
I think Houston won the trade right now but if you guys can somehow move CP3 (even at the cost of some of those recently acquired assets), I think Thunder are a clear winner.

it's b.s. whatever source amick heard this from isn't telling the truth. they aren't looking to field a good team. if they were they would not have traded grant.

WOJ saying we could move CP3 to Miami and have picks to help doing it. No way we should send some pick. Just get garbage expiring in return.

I think we can use a pretty flexible definition of "good" in this context. I think that team could be at least semi-watchable but nowhere close to a playoff team. At a minimum there's enough people in OKC with fond memories of the Hornet CP3 in OKC that it'll help ticket sales a little bit.

I prefer taking the garbage of players they dont want that cp3 if sending a pick of houston or miami pick in 2021 helps us at least get winslow I am ok with that , I even prefer wiggins (dont like wiggings at all ) that cp3

Re: Thunder Offseason Thread
Assuming he remains with the team I'll be interested in seeing how Steven Adams numbers/production will be impacted by the departure of Westbrook.
I'm assuming his rebound numbers will take a huge jump now that he no longer has to box out so that our PG can gran boards. I think he has a real shot at averaging double-digit rebounds for the first time in his career. I'm thinking around 12-13 rpg is easily attainable.
On the offensive end I would expect him to get a few more touches.
