I know not everyone considers KOC and Vernon to be great intellectual basketball minds but it's nice to hear some good national praise on something thunder related.

Happy for him. Not sure he deserved it that much but he has been overlooked so many times that it's fine.

Not sure how much weight to put into this.

He will be a two way player. What will happen to A.Wiggins or P.Watson?

Happy new year everybody! Hope it can be a very good year for everyone here (active or inative members).

And obviously let's get a top 3 pick, draft a future superstar and mostly have some fun with our team :)

Wiggins might be the brightest spot on this team so far over the season after SGA and Josh, no way anything of note happens to him.

Paul Watson is just a warm body.

But still no news from Sam. Will Watson be cut or does Wiggins get a full contract. So Deck has to leave the franchise.

Whew boys. Started a new job and have had no time to follow the NBA at all! Gotta love peak season. Can anyone fill me in on the season? Looks like the tank is finally happening. Chet Holmgren "the guy"?

EDIT: Also looks like Poku was sent down to G-League. He's just not putting it together? Thoughts on Giddy?

Deck is just dead weight IMO. I would cut him if I were Sam. Thankfully his 23/24 year is a TO and his deal doesnt cut into the cap space OKC will have to play with come summer 2023.

Not a bad trade .

Was kinda annoying seeing deck not getting run while all the 10 days are getting some minutes.

Prefer some future picks over getting cash like what knicks got for taking on valentine.

I think a late second round pick was worth 2 millions in last draft. Should be higher in 2028 and it may end up being a decent SRP.

Nothing great but better than nothing.

We're going to have to be really careful with the way you develope Giddey to play alongside SGA. Don't exactly go together at the moment. Hopefully Giddey's offense comes along and it makes more sense.

I think I'm ready to cut bait on Poku and Baze. Team looked more cohesive without them.

Absolutely. Patience with Poku and Bazley comes to an end. No development at all.
I have much more doubt about coaching too. Mike Muscala has 2 consecutive steals and than have to leave the floor.

Baze has been awesome since he's gone to the bench tbh. Still 21 years old. Not ready to cut bait for sake of cutting bait when it's looking like his extension could end up being a bargain. Depends what other teams think he's worth though. If we're able use Baze in a deal to get a legitimate shooter who can shoot off movement and be big time gravity next to shai/giddey then that's a major appeal imo.
