I'm hesitant to move and sacrifice our youngsters, Adams, or Dre, with multiple picks for Beal, who is ball hungry guy. We cant even give Adams some possesions with Russ and P on the floor.
I'd wait and see what happens when Dre gets healthy and we're at full strength.

Getting porter and keeping Adams is better than giving up Adams to get Beal in my opinion. If Dre was even close to healthy (which is unlikely) that starting lineup is second to the warriors, and it’s close.
Erm, they'd still be better 1-4, I don't think it's particularly close. If boogie came back healthy then they're better at every position.

Yikes.. Otto porter makes as much as Bradley Beal does per season.
My god that contract is awful. 15% trade kicker and 50% of annual salary paid by oct 1 every season.
As strictly a player he would have value to teams, but that contract probably obliterates any positive value he has.

So Fultz wants out of philly. Would you take a shot on him with the Melo TPE?
I’m know he’s a mess right now, but I’m pretty tempted

Because EVERYONE said he was can’t miss. I know he’s a mess physically AND mentally right now, but I think there is a chance that he figures it out. Plus it doesn’t really cost you any asset.

Because as bad as he has been he would still be better than Felton and has a ton more upside.

He ought to be better than Felton. He’ll be making ten million a year next year.

While this is true he would be a PERFECT fit on this team's drive and kick it to a bad shooter for 3 system. He seems like a Presti player. He's big/long for his position and plays defense. He has a higher percentage inside 3ft than Russ does! He has a higher percentage of his shots at the rim than Russ, based on career averages. He can't shoot, which makes him another Russ and Schroder guard. Imagine Russ, Schroder, Fultz, Grant and Adams! The 3pt shots they could air ball would be high quality entertainment for non-Thunder fans.
Philly isn't going to give up on him for nothing unless they have a max FA ready to sign in the off-season. They can clear max space by trading Fultz and their first round pick to have a big 4 of Simmons-Embiid-Butler-???. I don't think they want to clear that space now and give up on Fultz. Philly messed up in trading for Fultz when they needed shooting to fit around Simmons. They could have stayed put, instead of giving up the Sacramento pick, and taken Tatum, Fox or Dennis Smith Jr all who would have been better fits. Fultz shot 65% from the fT line in college. How people were foolish enough to think he was a good shooter when he couldn't make FTs is beyond me.

There are plenty of players who have become good shooters who shot close to what Fultz did from FT line in college

While true, none of those players had his broken shot AND were touted as shooters coming off their freshman season. Oladipo shot 61% from the FT line as a freshman, but no one said he could shoot until his junior year and by then he had two seasons, sophomore and junior, of 75% from the line.

He was can’t miss by EVERYONE. There is a bunch of revisionist history with Fultz now.
I think he’s still not right physically and needs to get right mentally.
Fultz was compared to Harden and Wade with a 3 point shot.

Yeah but if he got hot for a month or two and looked liked what he did coming into the league imagine what kind of assets Okc could get for him especially if they only used a 2nd round draft pick or Patterson to get him then we could get a player like Jeff Green to take Patterson spot.Worse case scenario we trade him to a rebuilding team during the offseason.

Re: Trade Ideas, AKA Please God Bring Us Shooters
I think Fultz will be good. I just don't ever think he will be a shooter. I think he's a poor man's Russ. I think he's the type of player Presti likes. I don't think you take him into the TPE when OKC needs win now players. Fultz is a long-term investment and a team like OKC who has a VERY short window would better served getting someone like Kyle Korver if they are trying to maximize the Russ/PG/Adams core.
If OKC is trying to do a half-ass rebuild while continuing to make the playoffs then trading for Fultz would be a good move. There are just about 20 other teams who I think would better served trading for Fultz than OKC. Russ and Schroder are the PGs for the next few years. OKC is not a team that improves the shooting of their players. Fultz and Philly's 1st to Phoenix for a pair of future 1st, 2020 and 2022 or 2021 1st and some 2nd round picks, would make sense for both teams. It would give Phoenix a PG that could fit with their young core and it helps Philly clear to max space for the off-season.

At this rate, they need a trade just to have a warm body to play on the wing.

So even though 2Pat player a bit of decent defense on KD, OKC could really use another PF

Lol @ everyone who said 2Pat > Grant at the beginning of the season. If 2Pat doesn’t show to be more consistent from behind the arc by the deadline, I would definitely trade him to a team desperate for some kind of stretch 4.
We would be better off doubling down on defense or grabbing another project wing. Patterson for Bender? Why not?
