If you think that it's okay for Roberson to give up 37, 35 and 44 points in the 1st 3 games of the playoffs to Harden, more points than anybody has scored since Michael Jordan, then there's just no reason to debate any further. You keep supporting the guy that has made 3 of his last 23 free throws while airballing the last 2 and 1-10 on 3 pointers this season. Good luck with that.

Good evening. Quick question for you. How many games do you think the Knicks win with Kanter starting? Will Kanter be an all star in the east since he will average 20/10? Look forward to your answer.

The Knicks don't have enough talent around him for them to be a very good team and I could care less how many games they win since I'm an OKC fan. If Kanter gets anywhere close to 34 minutes he will average 20/10 easily and I would imagine that would get him in the all star game. Believe it or not points, rebounds and assists are actually important although many of those on this message board don't seem to understand that and think that completely meaningless stats like +/- make them seem smart so they post those. Elite offensive players typically get into the all star game. If they play him 21 minutes per game like OKC did though he obviously has no chance.

Is Kristaps Porzingis a star? If he is, how can the Knicks not make the playoffs with two allstars in the lowly east?

So whats the bet on him being an all star? Care for one?

me: can we talk about andre roberson's defense against james harden just this one topic?

sleestak: james harden scored more points than wilt chamberlain game 1, 2 and 3 37 points arrragh

me: let's look into that a little deeper.

sleestak: STATS ARE MEANINGLESS. 37 POINTS! 2-21 from the line how can you support that. enes kanter! arrarrghghg

over the last six months this is basically every conversation i've had with this guy, summed up. i call it a conversation but it's more like trying to have a discussion with a wall.

How many many games until they take away his spot starter minutes and pull him completely? They need any backup 5, grant can play more minutes on the wing, and huestis can be the lucky 5th starter. Roberson is going to fall out of the rotation unless he shows the ability to make a layup quickly (still think he's better than grant around the rim?), because he completely kills the spacing and is unplayable otherwise, as he's been a turnstyle on the ball, especially against quick guards. It's becoming clear to the coaching staff. When will you all admit embarrassing defeat? Also don't begin to argue the team stunk defensively because Roberson was out. It was an all out weak effort, by a team who needs 1 more wing and a backup center (or improved patterson, which should come),combined with minnesota being stacked. They made shots, lots of them tough.

Here is what you just said-“ Steven Adams was offensively inefficient last night and don’t even try to use his fg% to say other wise because Russell Westbrook had multiple careless turnovers.”

Yes, let's pull him completely, maybe we'll give up 130 to every scrub team in the league.

Just shut the **** up you **** idiots. I'm so sick of this same bs narrative all day long. Stop polluting the board with this nonsense when it so very clearly has no bearing in reality.

Its like when Kanter started and they lost by giving up 130 per game for a few weeks.

What Donovan is doing with Roberson is flat out asinine.

I'll leave it here too. You can't ignore it, otherwise all the ridiculous arguments for him, even by the blogosphere intelligentsia, become worthless. The teams defense isn't the problem. The thunders stars struggle when he's out there, it's simply not fair to play him.

I mean, I posted an article with literally the opposite conclusion that was more recent in the game thread. And the starters with Abrines are worse than they are with Robes.

We don’t need to same post in multiple threads. It just smacks of screaming for attention.

Well it should be discussed? Why is it being ignored? It's a major problem (the stars on offense) and a clear fix when looking at the numbers
