Ugh, I wanted Sam to trade down for gobert so badly before the draft. Only thing that would've been better is a picture of him holding mini-cupcakes.

Jazz fans (at least the German ones I know) are weird about this Gobert video saying he should stay classy and whatnot. These guys need some Russ in their lifes.

Team petty represent!

I mean, yeah? That's kinda in the definition.

He got it. But Riley is the real winner here. He is effectively paying Dion 10.2mln/year as he used him this season for free.
For a SG that's pretty good. The only downside may be Dion returning to his old stupid self after the contract but I think as long as the Heat keeps that core "bro" team intact he will feel comfortable doing his thing and will contribute.

I think a big part of his improvement was getting in tremendous shape. I'm really happy for him and glad he's staying, I think he found a good situation.

In past 11 seasons, 9 teams have made finals. 7 became champs, 4 multiple times. 2 didn't win titles- Magic and Thunder, both going out 4-1. The lesser of the best, the best of the rest.

How long until the world realizes that Lonzo ball might be the 5th best player in this draft at best? Sports center leads with his "highlights" like it's the NBA finals even though his stats were garbage.

That's actually quite hard to watch, it must be humiliating having that many people laughing at you. I guess he brought all this on himself though. It's a bit difficult to tell what Russ is feeling there.

I think KD really thought this would all go away, especially after he won a title.

Ouch! I agree that KD thought everything would be justified if he won a championship. He still doesn't seem to understand that most people viewed his move as incredibly WEAK. And I think Russell just wants no part of KD's drama.

I sort of thought it might have been staged. If that was Durant's honest reaction... Wow.

They prepped them beforehand. It's staged.

Still funny though

Edit: And I'm not 100 percent sure but it may have been.

The more I think the less I think it was scripted. Him tweeting the emoji after the fact doesn't seem like he'd do it if it were scripted. That and he's a bad actor.

Nah man, that was not staged. Him reacting like that is real.

If it had been staged, he would have smiled at it.
