Is Abrines extension elligible? If so when would be the deadline for them to come to an agreement and has that date already passed? Hard to think he's part of the long term plans at this point.

It’s amazing how Diallo already looks so much more comfortable on the floor than Ferguson. Night and Day honestly.

People still talking about Jimmy Butler.. :noway:
Minnesota wouldn't trade him to the Thunder, even if this team had the assets which we don't.
Trading him within the conference is a dicey proposition. Trading him within the division is downright crazy.

He'll end up in Miami. They are the only team that wants to acquire him that can't get him in FA next year.

Guess this makes sense here, but this is the first time hearing him for me as I didn't have a way to see other games, but I like the new play by play guy.

Hey props to Presti for actually finding us a rookie to be somewhat upbeat about. Entering last June's draft with only 2 late second rounders in hand I had no expectations of us landing anyone worth our time or attention at all. Good pick purchase.

I am giving him time but there's something sort of boring about him to me. He doesn't ever really get excited which is something I need. Now the opposite of that is also problematic. Like Michael Cage spending a good 5 minutes bragging about Ray Felton's floater, that was too excited.

But the new guy is just sort of generic so far. Like, if you were casting a sports play by play guy in a movie made for TV, that guy's voice would be perfect for it.

Just a theory here, but I think that has a lot to do with Kentucky and Coach Cal. That dude just mints NBA players whereas Ferguson went down to Australia between high school and the NBA. What sort of development at attention does an 18-19 year old really get in that environment?

i recall you mentioning this before and diallo actually cited this during an interview before last night's game i think, that learning a playbook and responsibilities the way he's had to was nothing different than he did at kentucky.

really generic and ... inexperienced. one thing i noticed is he's saying "why not?" as a catch phrase a few times. i think that's adorable.

he won't be saying anything controversial which is i guess what they wanted.

At a certain point it can't just be coincidence right? I know Cal gets tons of blue chip prospects but he also does a great job preparing them. If you could look at the aggregate years played in the league the last ten years I bet Kentucky is leading all other schools by a wide margin.

Mostly agree, but I'd rather that in a guy next to Cage than being a rampant uninformed homer, which is what they had.

Didn't notice the why not part, but don't think that's what they wanted so much as just someone who wasn't epically annoying level of homer.

I move to ban bondom immediately. Brian Davis is a national treasure whose name should never be besmirched.

Next time we're making chicken salad out of chicken something else, don't even bother showing up here. You could be part of something special, but instead you choose to **** on the best thing that ever happened to this franchise.

For shame, Sir. For shame!

If Brian Davis is in the top 1,000,000 list of best things to happen to this franchise then the franchise is such trash it should be destroyed and all history cleared. Davis should have been fired years ago. Davis being fired might be in the top 10 of best things since moving to OKC.

Davis was still better than cage.

Wish you could listen to the radio broadcast synced with the TV coverage.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Was wondering this myself.
