They were playing extremely hard. They saw the chance to maybe eliminate okc. If they want to play more Anderson, less Tucker, I'm fine with that should they play in the playoffs.

Actively manufacturing reasons to discredit their favorite team. Never fails to amaze on here. Must be so fun to watch a game with some of these guys

there's a difference between enjoying a game and letting the afterglow of a win inflate expectations. was he incorrect with what he said?

personally, i think it's cute that the same people who continually insist that playoff basketball is different and the regular season doesn't matter are the first ones to take a win and run with it.

Yes, he was incorrect with what he said. Houston was trying their hardest, it was pretty obvious. They had a chance to potentially eliminate okc, and had a 20 game home win streak, were playing in their home finale. Dont think they wanted that streak in tact going into the playoffs?Tucker played well, as did green in Anderson's absence.

This wasn't just a regular season win. It was a playoff game for okc, and they played like it, in an environment where nobody ever wins, and won, against the best team in the league.

it sure must be convenient to call regular season games meaningless except the ones you pick and choose are meaningful.

the rockets were missing eric gordon. our starters got roasted, our bench played okay. gordon being available probably changes that to some extent.

this game meant nothing to the standings for houston. they were missing eric gordon and ryan anderson. inventing your own motivation for the rockets doesn't change that.

Not inventing anything, it was very evident in how they played.

I know they were missing Gordon, you can't say what he would've done.

While im (and every ex NBA player seems to be) of the mindset the regular season and playoffs are different, this has nothing to do with what anyone calls anything. This was the first time this year the thunder truly faced a must win game, and they played beautifully against the best team in the league, and won a game they were expected to lose.

Not only that but if you want to play the we were missing players game, they were missing roberson, and adams went down I believe in the 3rd quarter.

Denver or Minny is forced to get 36 losses. We max out at 35 losses. OKC is 7th or higher automatically

The loser of Denver and Minny will be out of the playoffs and the winner will finish with 35 losses and has the tiebreaker over the Thunder.

New orleans and san antonio also has the tiebreaker. It is the 8 seed for the Thunder unless they can win tomorrow.

If OKC wins out and Utah lose to Portland, who gets the 4th seed?

The Spurs play NOLA too. OKC is pretty much 4 through 7. 6 seems likely

I hate to be the one to break it to you but Roberson isn't walking through that door.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.
