last 25 games of 2023-24 he was sub-30%, sub-30% in the playoffs too. chet being a threat from three is important for the offense in the playoffs. allowing teams to contest late or not at all on chet out there puts so much pressure on jdub / shai as we saw against dallas.

Thought he would have at least make 1-2 still.

At least it doesn’t look bad or miss the rim though .

Chets 3 pt shot is bad right now as a matter of fact the whole teams is except IJ and sgas is not pretty. Defence is pretty stout though and chet looks like a force.

How is Ajay Mitchell looking? As one of the few Belgians ever making it to the NBA I'm quiet interested.

He’s no Kevin De Bruyne.

I thought Jdub was gonna take a leap this season but it looks like it's gonna be Chet. I was very high on Chet when we drafted him but I didn't think he would be this good this fast and he wants to improve and win as much as anyone. Really hope JDub will improve on the other hand

In preseason jdub looked fantastic I think the ankle roll hurt him.

I don't understand, why we didn't give A.Mitchell the 15'spot of our roster with a 3 year about 6 Mio contract. He is such a good pick and ready to throw into the game already now at the beginning of the season.

Chet is a franchise player or close to it...insane level of play for a guy playing his second season in the NBA. Should be an all star if he stays healthy.

Overall defense is great and offense sucks but it's still easier to fix the offense and shooting. I'm not worried about that yet.

Is only 4 games in but the defensive performance of this team is looking trascendent. Caruso over giddey alone is great but the compounding effects of no weak links in the roster is even greater

We are missing harstentein specially for chet-less minutes and rebounding and kind of have a weak spot vs bigger wings (albeit i trust dort vs most big wings)

only complain: I want to watch more from Caruso on offense. We don't need it yet but there's a world where Joe/Cason/Dort are struggling from deep during the POs and Caruso becomes a "key" offensive player. He shot very well from deep last season so there's no reason not to feed him.

it's crazy how good and deep the perimter defense is. Easily the best in the league and maybe one of the best of all time. Never seen a team where literally every perimeter player is an excellent defender.

Dort
Caruso
SGA
Wallace
JDub

Seriously, who in all of NBA history can match that?

Team is doing well so far . Winning is always a plus but offence is a work in progress.

It’s exceedingly impressive how easily we’ve gotten by thus far when it doesn’t look like we are playing anywhere near our best at the offensive end.

hamilton, billlups, prince, sura, hunter '04 pistons is probably better.

drawing these comparisons after such a hot and unsustainable start is probably making it tougher to find any. i'm sure later in the year we'll have some better comps. what matters most in the playoffs is top end, though, and white-jrue on the celtics is probably superior defensively than any two-man backcourt we can construct from our roster.

we could end up the #1 defense in the league, but i wonder how much rebounding and fouling will hold us back. similar defensive profile to the warriors teams tbh.
