Brook Lopez is now Kareeem Abdul Jabbar.

Durant once again could have dunked it, but passes to Kanter and he gets blocked.

Well, we're only down 2 after all that, but we've allowed a team that averages 95 PPG to be on 120 point pace after one quarter of play.

Waiters with a few nice possessions. Hits a three, steals the ball, hits KD for the buzzer beater.

Waiters helps break up another play which leads to a Payne lay up in transition.

The shot selection wasn't horrible. He just didn't make them.

Good defense, Durant! Way not to let them shoot the 3!

If Lopez is going to make shots like that, where he's forced into a tough shot and still makes it, I'm not sure how we're going to keep him from scoring 30-40 points.

Yeah, I mean, you just kind of have to live with that. It's not sustainable and if it is, you just let it happen. You don't pull help from the perimeter because then he will find a shooter and you don't want Lopez and BKN's shooters getting hot.

Yeah, he's over passing a bit but I can live with that if he's trying to get other guys involved.

Tonight's "Because He's Playing the Thunder" player looks like it's going to be Bogdanovic.

A terrible offensive team in Brooklyn has 51 points and is shooting 55% from the floor with 4 minutes to go in the 1st half.

And between KD and Russ, the two have missed three FTs already.

How was that not a foul?

And it leads to a busted odd man advantage in favor of Brooklyn for a dunk on the other end after Russ and Roberson go down to the floor.

Still down six. Brooklyn has, after a lights out first quarter where they only had a two point lead, have actually added four points to their lead 9 minutes into the second quarter. Just another game where we let a vastly inferior, terrible team who's already given up on the season outplay us and score at will in the 1st half. This should've been a game that was over by halftime. Instead we're probably going to go into halftime down by multiple possessions.

Why would Westbrook take a 3?

It's very frustrating how negative every game thread is.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.
