Mo Williams could sign for the tax payer midlevel of $3.3

Yeah, but we'd have to clear ANOTHER roster spot to sign him. That to me smells like Presti planning a blockbuster to move and consolidate several guys at once.

Hey Bondom? I think they might have made a mistake.

On here it says Maurice Williams. http://hoopshype.com/player/maurice-williams/

But the original Randy Renner tweet mentions seeing "Williams and Grant" and says "Mo is a possibility". I think he's referring to Mo Cheeks, not Mo Williams.

Any chance the slimmed down McGary could play some three this season in specific situations?

Yeah, I don't know what happened. It either is a hoopshype error or Renner took down a tweet. I'm leaning the former because it doesn't really make much sense roster wise.

No. I would be semi-interested in trying out a Russ/KD/Serge/Adams/Kanter lineup and playing a zone a few times. It would be more for novelty than effect but it'd be cool to see.

I think they will try a variety of things to try to hide Kanter if he doesn't make some improvement on the defensive end. However, the other thing to remember is that this is the healthiest off-season Kanter will have had since he joined the NBA so it is possible that he will actually be able to work on his defense and make improvements unlike in the past where he was stuck rehabbing from injuries and unable to work on his game. That is the is the biggest factor that has me holding out hope that he will show significant defensive improvement. Health allowing him to actually put in the work. That is assuming that his talk about a desire to improve has been legitimate and not just saying what he thinks people want to hear.

Also left off the national team so he has no excuses at all.

Nada. The Snakegod can not play the 3. Ibaka could in a spot. But, that's what Durant is for.

Nope. That is just based he cant hit a 3, your price tag on the trade and he wants $25 million next season. We have no future first round pick to offer until 2020, and no real assets we want to deal. Unless it was a part of a Kanter sign and trade I don't think we match up.

Kanter for Valanciunas/Derozan

The most Enes Kanter can make next season is $15.7 million.

Not for what he'd cost. He's a ball-stopping volume shooter and not the greatest defender, so not a great fit next to KD and Russ. Would be a better 6th man than Dion (based on last season, though I still have hope for him). But we really need a low-usage guy who can defend well and score decently, especially from beyond the arc.

I really like MKG, but he's probably Charlotte's best long-term piece. Doubt they give him up. Danny Green or Wes Matthews would obviously be ideal, but we can't get them. Best bet is either Huestis being good or Roberson magically developing a jumper. :o

I'll give you Dion Waiter and Steve Novak for him. You might even get me to throw in Perry Jones. If you want more than that not interested. DeRozan would be a slight upgrade to Waiters, but not enough to part with anything I'd consider valuable. I definitely don't think I'd give enough to get Toronto to move him as he has become a very overrated fan favorite for them.

I don't think Novak could go back to the Raptors.

I don't know why you wouldn't give any value for him, he's an all-star caliber player who really picked up his shooting after his injury. He's a coaches player and will always be working to get better. With that being said, I would consider the Waiters/PJ3 deal if we are in desperate need of cap relief if we do strike something with LMA/Mathews and need cap ASAP, if theirs nothing better I'd do DD for Waiters, PJ3 and a future 1st or two, but nothing lower then that and only for those circumstances. Maybe we're just not the best trading partners for DD.
