Could be available at 6 . Seems more realistic then pick 4.

I’m fine with Murray as our second pick. I just don’t think he drops far enough and if we were to trade up, I think I’d expect someone like Ivey. Hopefully this time next year a more nba ready player like Murray is a better fit with the roster.

I think due to age and perceived ceiling it’s more likely he will be picked by the kings, portland , indiana or New Orleans .

We probably going for younger guy with lower floor and higher ceiling even if less likely to approach that ceiling . Purely because we already have #2 and that we are tanking for 2023 still.

could be fake rumors again but looks like there's a decent chance SAC picks Murray at 4. I think Detroit would pick at 5 if Ivey is gone. He's a great prospect and I love the fit next to Cade.

Think Mathurin should be gone in the top 6 too (or maybe Daniels but less likely) then we can try to make something to move up to 7 or 8 to get Sharpe/AJG or Sochan (sorry guys  )

I wonder if Mike Schmitz hiring could hurt our chances to move up to 7 (he should be high on some prospects after watching them closely for years) but I guess in the end Portland is all in on trying to build the best team around Lillard.

FWIW

Stay away from Chet, Orlando. Feel like every top 3 team will get who they want if true.

It's just so interesting. Lot sof smart basketball people think this guy is going to be really good but at the same time they can't quite explain him, because he doesn't really have a comp. The closest we get is Gobert with a better offensive game. Even that doesn't seem adequate.

It's easy to explain imo.

He is by far the best basketball player in the class, and all the mental/fundamentals/tactical traits of an elite defensive anchor and offensive ball skills.

Man, if Dieng can play SG the OKC could have one of the most unique teams in recent history:

G - Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 6'6
G - Osumane Dieng 6'9
F - Josh Giddey 6'9
F - Chet Holmgren 7'0
C - ???

But you shift everyone down a spot for late 4th 'death lineup' situations IMO. A switchy smaller guy in the Looney mold at C and your set.

Clearly you shift holmgren to 5 and put Poku at 4! :)

In a perfect world! But I am not penciling Poku much anymore - have not given up on him but not ready to see him as a long term fit either. That J is just much worse than I anticipated (Albeit his D is much better).

We go big in that case.
Trade SGA for depth
Backcourt - 6’9” Giddey/ Dieng
Forward - 7’0” Poku / Chet
C - 7’3” Wembanyama if we win the draft next season otherwise Boban

think it's fake. I wouldn't look much into this. Top prospect not giving his medicals to picks 1 or 2 would be beyond stupid.

I haven't seen a credible tweet about it yet.

I wonder if this is why the Thunder are trying to get back up into the draft…

We will know is less than 30 hours.

I don't believe this at all. Woj would have reported this yesterday. He's so confident Jabari going #1 and Chet likely #2...I don't think Chet is a lock but he wouldn't say this with such medical red flags.

24 invitations doesn't make any sense. Guess likely none of them will be available at #34...maybe one.

No Liddell amongst the green room guys...guess we have at least a couple of liddell's fans here (I didn't watch enough of him to have a real opinion).

Dort with Mann,Giddey and Maledon in Miami. Doesn't look like a guy that might get traded tomorrow but we already saw awkward situations before.
