I woke up at 6a.m. just to catch at least 4th qtr of the game but only thing I saw was stupid 1 on 5 plays and Melo clunkers against the scrubs of GSW and an incredible boxscore. I will try to solve this mystery today by watching the replay of the game.

I could read Durant calling westrook a P***y.

That's what ESPN wrote (and that Westbrook called him soft after that)
Cupcake calling Westbrook a pussy is a bit weird to say the least

If you are going to put the teams recent struggles on Donovan, then you have to credit him for big wins.
So when we are bad, it’s Donovan?
When we are good, it’s the players?
I’m confused.

Donovan didn't change. Instead, shotsjust fell.
A broken clock is right twice a day.
So... it's on Donovan when Westbrook shoots 3/22 and we lose and the win is on Russ because he did his job and made shots?
Donovan really gets no credit here?

YASSSSSS that was great to see. 37 minutes for Adams.
Also makes me think how much better this team would be if they got a quality back up C who could somewhat mirror what Adams brings.
Grant for Bebe.
Bebe can do a good Adams impersonation?

i also re-watched the parts of the game i missed this morning and i can't believe how well the defense performed despite westbrook's blatant inattentiveness.

By the way, the game ball goes to Russ for this one. He showed leadership when it mattered most. He led the charge. He got back on track, which opened things up for the offensive system
, and everyone else got going too. Good job, Russ. And great job, Billy, since no one else is saying it.
Also, shout out to Donovan for playing Huestis 18 minutes who was +10 on the night instead of Patterson & Abrines. Genius move.

Pretty sure there was a play where russ let his Curry go by him and it looked like he was mad at Dre for not switching over and covering his man.

After reading the espn article I expect Lavar and Wanda to elope in the near future.

Durant had never to call some else a pussy. He is King Pussy. He runs and hides like the little pussy he is during times of stress.

No, if he does anything he does. If you play the same garbage rotations and do thte same stupid stuff but Russ bails you out, you don't get credit. Not that tough to figure. I said quite a few times Russ was to blame too.

I'm having trouble comprehending that part. But what garbage rotations do you speak of? And why do you think it is garbage?
Also, did Donovan not make good substitutions last night? Did he not call well-timed timeouts and make sure the team wasn't getting off track? Am I missing something? I personally thought it was a really smart move not to play Patterson or Abrines heavy minutes but to instead go with the better defender and energy player in Huestis for 18 minutes.
It still just doesn't make sense to me that you say "Russ bailed him out." So when Russ shoots well and plays defense (what he should be doing), he's bailing our coach out? That just doesn't make a lick of sense. Hell, you might as well say that Curry bails Kerr out or Kyrie bails Stevens out. Because if any other starting point guard on a contender shoots as bad as Russ has shot prior to this game (which allows defenses to collapse and really hurts spacing), that team is losing more games, but they aren't blaming the coach. Instead, the question is "what's wrong with [insert point-guard or star player]."
Yeah... not buying that one, bro.

OK.
Game 1: Poor coaching, Russ misses shots.
Game 2: Poor coaching, same shots go in.
What did Donovan do here to gain credit?
Nothing. Still the same issues, just a different outcome. And no, when Russ plays well they win, when he plays poorly they lose.
Donovan hasn't done anything to this point to show hes a reason they've won.
