Ferguson looked really good tonight. Granted Detroit doesn’t have elite perimeter players, but he moves his feet really well, stays in front of a player without reaching, and had several help blocks.
Now if his shot could just come around

With our full squad playing 100% and 2 GSW starters out, yes.

Just checked, Bulls, Knicks, Suns, Rockets and Harden played poorly, Warriors and their bench won the game. Still a solid win.

So basically the odds are...less than 1% that's for sure.
Anyway don't want to think about the fact that it's impossible to beat GSW in a 7 series. I like our team so far and hope we can deliver soon when we will play against good western conference teams (Nuggets/Pels/LAC/Rockets/Utah etc.)

the doubling on blake worked really well. coaching credit for that one. wouldn't think to double blake much since he's so good at passing and with the dribble but it clearly flustered and even dissuaded him from attack the rim much.

Exactly. Coaching staff deserves some credit. And it's good to watch Russ playing some defense.

Drummond is a great player on my fantasy team but he never impresses me when I watch him.

17-20 free throws is a nice turnaround too

I don't know if that was our best win of the season (though it well could be) but it was definitely my favorite win so far. Defense was legit ridiculous. Solid rotations, dudes flying around the floor. And Russ was super engaged. Just an amazing all around game. Go team!

I'm just so impressed by how well he slips around screens. That wiry frame actually works to his advantage when you'd think it might be the opposite on defense.

Feel the exact same. Tell me pregame Westbrook and George shoot 14-35 and 4-15 for 3 and I assume they get massacred. It was the exact opposite. Every player playing defense like that.

Basically every time I can't watch a game we play ridiculously well. It's pretty frustrating.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

This level of defense without Roberson is incredible. The biggest development this season is that they are playing great defense without Roberson. That was basically impossible last year. I know not having Melo helps a ton, but this is still an amazing defensive team

I don't believe it's Melo as much as it is not selling out for every pass. It's a credit to Donovan that we're playing this way, but it makes it all the more frustrating that we should've been doing it last year as well.

Please ask @cavsfilmroom if the Pistons are still top tier. He blocked me lol

it's 75% no melo. the difference between melo and the grant we've seen this season is huge. we can't do anything in pnr with melo, and virtually all options are open with grant. makes a huge difference and that's not even getting into the difference as rim protectors.

Re: 12/3 | G22: Oklahoma City Thunder at Detroit Pistons - 6PM CST
This OKC defense reminds me of the Miami Heat defense during their title years. That team seemed to have more than 5 players on the floor just like this team seems to at times. Great solid win. SA did a great job keeping Drummond in check.
Also Reggie Jackson plays really awful D. I don't watch many Pistons games admittedly, but he was a sieve. Dennis is at least pesky on D. Reggie plays defense like Harden, but without the offensive repertoire.

You're a terrible influence and I blame you when he blocks me.

I'd disagree more strongly if it wasn't for what happened in Houston. How good does that make Roberson though, if he was capable of covering for scheme, Melo, and Westbrook?
