we're also last in 3pt%. that's more of an issue. poor shooting in general.

45% eFG in this game is far more damaging than the ft%.

this is a major problem.

This is what Pil and I were talking about last game thread. He's become passive in a certain sense. Not his usual self of just blasting craters in opposing defenses. Much closer to an average PG.

Really thinking it was the easy schedule with the defense. Also, only 1.5 games in the playoffs right now. Weird how tight it is.

This trade thing is amazing.

If the Nuggets were full strength, sure. But the Nuggets were missing their 2nd and 3rd best players and they still controlled us the entire 48 minutes. They're absolutely, without question, better than us. The Nuggets have now blown us out at full strength in OKC, and controlled us the entire 48 minutes in Denver while missing 2/3rds of their best players.

We can't shoot. Period. We can't shoot from the FT line or the 3P line. Presti has largely ignored that issue ever since Durant left and it's highly infuriating.

Man we need to get KCP whatever it takes - if we're lucky we can do it by sending off Abrines and whatever else is needed

Donovan needs to have a whole practice where they do nothing but FTs, this is absurd at this point.

Also I don't know what's wrong with Russ but I wish it would stop, he's just being so passive & that isn't him. Maybe playing Beverly will wake him up. Or he'll just be irritated the whole night. One or the other.

Out side of Adams,Westbrook George, Grant and Schroder guess how many shot attempts the rest of the team had?No cheating.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we lose tomorrow was well. You would think we should win with Williams and Harris out, but it’s a 2nd of a back to back and we just played heavy minutes in Denver.

other than westbrook nobody is really shooting out of line with their career avg. improvement on ft shooting is more of a summer and camp work thing, not an in season thing.

OKC invents ways of playing dumb basketball. They make the easiest plays seem so difficult.

Between Presti being oblivious when it comes to 3 and D players, Westbrook's struggles and us literally being the worst team from behind the line I'm amazed we've done so well, we have big problems and right now a trade is our best option

It had to be less than 10. Abrines had 1, Patterson 2, Noel I think had 1. Diallo had 2 I think.

Was going to bring this up, the offense isn't generating looks for the second tier role players like Abrines and Patterson, etc. We get mad cause they can't hit shots but damn, you gotta get FGAs to get makes.

Makes you wonder. We have not looked especially good the last week outside of that Jazz game. Rest of the games losses or even the miracle Brooklyn comeback we mostly didn't play well.

We can't shoot. One of the worst in the league at it. It's a huge glaring weakness that Presti hasn't fixed in three years.

I mean yeah, I get that, but it doesn't change the reality. At this point what is a good shot for this team? Steven Adams/Jerami Grant dunks, and Paul George from pretty much anywhere. If that's your entire offensive capability then there's no margin for error. To have a realistic shot at being a good playoff team either russ has to roll back to 2016-2017, which is neither realistic or a fair expectation, or get back to last year's form and a different one of Schroder/Abrines/Grant/Patterson/Ferguson/Diallo has to be step in and be a 3rd scorer each night.

Basically we know PG will be PG, Steven will give us an efficient 15 every night. Right now those are the two things we can count on. We need 25 from Russ nightly, and we need 15-20 from another source.

Side note, Steven over the last 6 is giving us 21 per night on like 63% shooting. We've scored 110+ in each of those games until tonight (and it would be 114+ if they'd not sat everyone in the 4th at Detroit) but the defense seems to have fallen off quite a bit.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Yeah they're just bad right now as a team outside Adams and George.

I really wish we knew what was going on with Russ. Either he needs to sit out for a week and get healthy, or he's still trying to play himself into shape, and with no real local reporting it's impossible to even guess.

I love how Jokic just threw his hands up in the air like “c’mon, man” when Westbrook yelled “I will **** you up!”

Sure you will, Russ. You said that same thing about Zaza.

I’ve watched the altercation between russ and Murray multiple times now. Russ just instantly lost his mind once Murray touched him. Its not just about wins and losses for me but how they happen. His style of play along with his behavior is so tough for me to deal with.

Recency bias. The last time I looked (which was a couple of days ago) we had one of the best DRtGs in the league against the Top in NetRtG.
