We also got 20 points out of Adams and scored 117 for the game. Tonight, our defense was a disaster.

I mean Wiggins dropped 40 on us for crying out loud.

1 - Wiggins should have been ejected. Melo was ejected for FAR less at Portland.
2 - OKC fouled a decent amount, but Minnesota was helped out a by a GENEROUS whistle.
3 - if Royce is correct and Minnesota players were laughing when Noel was down, then that are some sorry bastards. Screw them.

I’m not a bash the refs type person, but that was sickening. If Minnesota players were laughing, then I can’t even begin to describe how awful they are. A gigsntic bunch of low life trash garbage ****.

Why? No reason for wigging to be ejected. Melo bad ejection (all NBA fans laughed about this) isn't a reason to make other ref mistakes

These Schroeder - Nader two man lineups are just brutal. Go back to the pine, Abdel.

I’m not really interested trading diallo or Ferguson anymore. I dont know if they are any good but I feel the same way about this team right now. It feels like we’ve been avoiding an inevitable backslide for a while.

I don't know why Donovan insists on the Schroder closing lineups next to Russ.

Also pretty rough for them to try and ask Adams to show so hard on a PnR that far beyond the arc. Minny running their plays so far up really hurt OKC's usual turnover-forcing tactics and sucked Adams out of comfortable position.

Adams had a monster game but he should have taken the shot after Russ missing his first 3. He was pretty open.

Nba tv shows the wolves spraying champagne in the locker room. What a freaking joke.

schroder said himself in an interview during the summer he was promised "starter's minutes" and a role and he's play with westbrook often.

we know this is what got carmelo anthony is minutes last year.

what more do you want.

Ferg playing one of the best games of his career, yet he doesn't see a single minute in the 4th.

Did Schroder play 17 minutes straight in the 2nd half?

Unreal.

Also Saunders is close to a lot of the players. He's well liked. Let them have their fun.

I don't know if this is a sign of a trend or just the dead cat bounce that comes from a coach firing, but either way it's a good win by a guy I think is the youngest head coach in NBA history. Let his guys enjoy it.

I'm not sure a new head coach having his first win is more important than another NBA professional being in the hospital with potential serious head injury. I understand their happiness and he deserves it but they could celebrate later.

the timberwolves players and staff should have skipped the locker room post game and went straight to the hospital for a candlelight vigil.

Plus side. I though Westbrook, athletically, looked a bit more like his old self tonight.
