Boston and Green both look very talented but it just makes sense to get the guy who willingly chose to move to Oklahoma. The videos I’ve seen, Cade looks like he’s on another level.

At this point I'd like cade, but wouldn't be disappointed in Boston or Green. Realistically at least one of the three will flop

so basically the gap is too big between Cade and the rest to have a shot at trading for n°1 if we don't get the first pick.

I don’t think we know that yet. A lot can happen between now and then.

There are going to be some teams left out in the cold that are banking on next years free agent class. I still have a hard time believing Washington is going to build around Beal. Maybe he becomes available by the trade deadline.

Very much so. I can't help but wonder if Presti would leave for the Celtics job if Ainge were to step down. Presti is a Mass. guy, after all.

He has made some very questionable moves and has had a questionable track record as a GM if you take out the BKN trade where he was practically gifted a ton of firsts. Other than the trade down for Tatum, and the acquisition of Stevens and Brown (top 5 pick), what else has he done? I'm not impressed by his recent moves over the year (outside of Tatum-trade) and while I know he is still a top 5 GM, you have to wonder what the hell is going on...

I agree. I dont think he's a bad gm but you can only do this kind of stuff to players and other franchises so many times before it becomes more of a hindrance. He also botched the Indy trade because he was greedy.

I don't think Sam leaves as long as ownership supports him. I also don't think Danny is going anywhere. For all of his faults, he's still managed to find stevens, tatum and brown and land fairly big time free agents with Horford, Hayward and Walker. Good for us.

It was a great trade. It just seems like he wants that kind of value on just about every move he makes.

People are forgetting the year russ was having pre-covid. Put him in the same type of spacing with a better fit next to him and a coach that will actually run pick and rolls? It could be another really good year or two.
