A team that just came off a 3 game losing streak and 4 of.the last 5 was almost on a 12 game win streak. Math ftw

we've lost 9 games by 3 points or less. just one or two more baskets in those games and we'd be a 54 win team right now. if only we were consistent we'd be among the elite.

Don't think they should've won the Boston and San Antonio games? They didn't outplay Portland, who got bailed out by insanity from CJ? They lost by 1 in OT to Denver, which I didn't see. Had they won those, yes they would be on a 12 game streak

By this measure we can count all the close wins as losses too. They're almost on a 12 game losing streak!

Just making a point to you guys.....they are playing good ball, and can play with or down to anyone. There is no playing down in the playoffs. This is a good thing. Other teams do in fact lose games, too.

They haven't played well since the end of January.

Who isn't middling then.....portland? It's gonna be a long 15 years for you guys who were spoiled by success when KD was there. This (a punchers chance) is as good as it's going to get for some time. Enjoy it, with the ownership, GM, and generally universal incompetence, once the current talent leaves, they will be the Sacramento kings.

I wonder what our record is when we hit at or above 80% of our free throws.

EDIT: It's 14-4.

bruh i've been a fan of this team since 1991, and have seen plenty of lean seasons. this gives me wisdom over the likes of you. it's why i could tell you in the preseason this was not a contender, and that houston was.

it doesn't make me less of a fan to be realistic about the team's present and future. you're free to use your fandom as an excuse to be irrational-- just don't expect to bring it to the shark tank and be taken seriously.

That's not really telling us anything. If they play well, they oftentimes win. But that's to be expected.
The problem is they're not playing well on both sides of the floor all that much. We're 78 games into the season and they've managed to be both above average offensively and defensively in the same game 14x. That's 14 out of 78 games. You can't be 'good' just every 5th or 6th game. That's not good enough.

Well see.....you also said there was no way grant would improve, and have tried repeatedly to drive the narrative that westbrook was done or not a top tier pg. He repeatedly makes you look foolish, despite his obvious flaws (like no other star has flaws!).i also have watched basketball since the early 1990s if you are going to use that as credibility (?) and can clearly see there are only 2 teams okc should be worried about, one if which is without their mvp and the other led by 2 choke artists, 1 who usually is hurt during the playoffs. I don't think okc wins the title, but do think they could. I'm happy with that

Are you blind or unable to count past two? Houston, GS, SA, Minny, Denver, Portland and Utah would all beat OKC in 5 games or less.

If only they got Crowder instead of George  but seriously I can't believe even you would think that was true.

wrong. i said his three point percentage was an illusion and he wasn't good on defense. both proved correct. grant was 23 to start the season of course he would improve to some degree.

hardenASG13 wrote:and have tried repeatedly to drive the narrative that westbrook was done or not a top tier pg.

wrong again. not a top tier pg? excuse me? when have i ever said that?

hardenASG13 wrote:He repeatedly makes you look foolish, despite his obvious flaws

makes me look foolish how, exactly? i'm glad when he plays well. but he has the same old warts. westbrook was at sub 50 ts for a huge chunk to start the year, he deserved criticism. i never said he wouldn't bounce back or improve as the year went on.

Nah, chill on this Justin. You have no evidence of this, and even if you did it's not worth arguing about.

Let's not get into a 'Who can claim we're trash' contest. It's not like every west team has been setting the world on fire.
