Once the actually rebuild will start, how many of those that wanted to keep Gallo will be happy from the cash okc got from 2 home playoff games?

Andrew Wiggins is probably going to turn into a star now. Just leaving Minnesota makes you better.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

First time I see GSW making a bad trade like this

It's not about the cash, it's about the memories we made along the way.

They’ve been questionable since west left. Adding pieces like swaggy p and drafting Jordan Poole. Others moves as well.

I’m less sentimental, I guess. This team in enjoyable to watch I’m not an advocate for delaying the rebuild. I suppose that’s a minority opinion

I'm really fine either way, I'd just prefer presti holds out for a big haul and gets nothing than just adding another late pick. We're deep enough in the season that trading gallo doesn't get us into the lottery, and I don't believe that letting bazley play 34 minutes per night now is really the difference in how his career plays out, so we're in a good space either way.

I don't think the average fan will even think about it. 'Oh yeah, we had Gallo 3 years ago, we could have another pick. What if we had that pick?'

Yeah...I'm all in for the rebuild and want a real tank during 2 years but we are 31-20, a lock to go to the playoffs and it won't change anything to accept a bad offer from Miami.

Maybe we will S&T Gallo to the Wolves now that they will try to build a good team ;)

While some players have asked out of OKC and other cities I think its pretty nice to have a guy who wants to stay here.
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point. :D

In my defense, the average fan is an idiot. :P

My biggest concern and question is do we really want to commit to the rebuild 2 years from now after shai has been here for two years? That’s a recipe for a good young player becoming discontent quickly.

Well he said he likes his teammates and situation here. You could also see he was visibly bothered when asked about the trade rumors last night. While others have jumped at the chance to chase rings I think its refreshing that Gallo prefers to stay with his teammates and OKC .

If someone is willing to take on Hezonja, a Zach Collins trade gets the Blazers under the tax line.

I just don’t see how this Gallo to MIA is going to work with them trying to work out an extension AND MIA wanting to chase a star FA. Something isn’t adding up. Either this trade is getting larger and we are getting a couple of nice pieces in return or this isn’t going to materialize.

It makes me wonder if we are trying to get Winslow.
