You may see an influx of DT posters arriving here as November gets closer.

You think? I don't know if this will drive them out or not, but I'd love to get some more over here.

Burning to the ground....people starting to get banned, the random alts making racist/poor taste comments banned, all sorts of stuff. Its insane. Royce's wife popped in finally a few minutes ago, there's like 3 mods all there at once.

Once the election stuff kicks off in full swing I'm sure you'll have some looking for an alternative (even if temporary) to avoid the consistent political hot takes that will most likely be posted and "debated" daily.

I actually find this setup more enticing for actual basketball discussion because you have topics separated. The real time commenting on DT is great for short, spontaneous comments during games but long discussions tend to be buried quickly and are especially hard to keep up with on mobile.

I've always liked this format for regular bball discussion if I'm actually writing a thought out response. I do enjoy DT for a work day distraction at times, but can't do it all the time. Especially if its actually talking basketball.

I believe that folks who are interested in more profound b-ball discussions will find a nice alternative in here. Right now DT is pretty much paradise for off-topicers and shitposters. It should be better when the season starts though.

That's what it seems, I do wish a few of the regs were around in the off season more just to ramble, but with the Olympics picking up, Sabonis and Abrines will at least be playing some. And a few of our European posters have kept us up to date on Sabonis.

Also college football season... As a European dude who has absolutely no clue about football, DT becomes pretty much insufferable for me, as that is all that people are raving about lol.

This from becomes more popular after durant leaves? Nobody would have guessed that.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Come here often enough you'll really start to appreciate this place. The moderators do a much better job keeping out trolls and keeping everything above board.

We try.

The OKC board's a little easier to handle. Some of the larger boards can be real zoos—harder to keep an eye on things.

I'm always amazed how well they control the general board. Those guys over there know blatant trolling when they see it and shut it down pretty quick.

The guys who moderate the General Board and the Current Affairs Board deserve medals.
