Knicks offense so far is turn the ball over or hit a 3 pointer/contested shot

It's all on Presti for not being able to find some proper vets like Courtney Lee or out of sight gems like TJ McConnell to help Russ all these years long. He either has no eye or respect for point guards.

With a chance to finally get above .500, and we're going to lose to the Porzingis-less Knicks.

I truly, with all of my heart, hate this team.

We couldn't ever get over the 4-8 point hump and now McDermott, a player who was God awful with us, hits back-to-back 3s to pus us down by 11.

**** this team.

what is josh huestis skilled at? why is he playing nba minutes? he's sub-50% ts for the year and has zero skills on offense except for shooting threes. he can't pass, he's a turnover machine when he dribbled, can't make a layup. we can't do better than this for our rotation? it's a joke this guy is even in the league. is presti required to have a bum like this on every roster? semaj left so huestis gets minutes now?

I'd like to point out the fact that not every player starts to shine under the OKC system, I can even say opposite is more correct.

Pretty much, which makes this eventual loss even more frustrating. They just keep hitting tough, contested shots (3s usually), or turning the ball over and we can't get over the hump. And now we're down by double digits in the 4th quarter.

We're never going to above .500. We'll finish 40-42.

Don't tell me that featuring these guys to take Pullups is not part of our offensive game plan.

It's bad coaching, plain and simple. We're not 'combining' guys, we're just individual parts that coexist.

They only way the Knicks could really hope to beat us tonight without Porzingis is by getting really hot from three.

Here we are, 40 minutes into the game and they're shooting 13/20 from three.

And even though perimeter players who are historically very good FT shooters are taking the vast majority of our FT attempts, we still can't make bleeping FTs.

At a 65% clip on 20 attempts with so-so 3P shooters on their roster?

Yeah Kanter was 43/45 in FTs before game but even he is only 2 of 4 tonight. Something is off.

And even when they finally miss a three we foul the 3P shooter.
