I stopped listening to that crap years ago. Everyone on there was a complete idiot about everything sports related. They make Skip Bayless look like he actually has a functioning knowledge of sports.

So, let's assume we couldn't find a third team to take Cameron Payne... God damn, is he THAT hard to sell? I can name a lot of teams who should be taking Payne. That's really worrisome. Has to be his lack of shot-making and small-frame right?

Also, what does a trade for Chandler look like?

Yes. We can't deal our 2017 pick until we make the selection.

Most likely the deal was Roberson, Abrines, Payne for Chandler with Payne going to a third team and a pick going back to Denver.

Abrines should not be included in a deal like that. Chandler isn't that good of a player.

Detroit looking to possibly move KCP. He's shooting 37% from three this year. Do we want him?

Kinda redundant with Dipo.

lol @ moving roberson and abrines for Chandler. Abrines has potential and a crazy good deal and maybe we can resign Roberson for a decent deal. No way I would do this!

Have you seen him play this year? He's done literally nothing at an NBA level. He's been better on defense than offense, and we all know he's a horrible defender.

Seriously, I wouldn't go above roberson/Payne. Chandler isn't that good or a great fit, he would've been my last resort, not the guy I set my sights on.

Hope Presti can pull off a trade like the Pelicans did with the Kings or just go up the draft. Lowering my expectations so I won't be disappointed if just minor things happens.

Abrines alone is too much for Chandler.

Who do you want more TJ Warren or Stanley Johnson?

Roberson, Payne, and filler for Warren or Johnson? Who says no? Roberson is a proven defender can easily play the 3 next to a prolific back court.

Kanter is a poor mans Oakfor. He is getting better on defense. Can score a bunch in few minutes and paid at a new reasonable rate.

I have. It is important to keep in mind that coming back mid season from injury can affect your play. He's still finding his rhythm. Hard to compare a 2nd year player coming off of an injury to rest of league, especially when Presti relies on development. I understand he hasn't done much as of yet, but is it crazy to think we could have gotten a "lottery second" from a team willing to take a flier on the kid?

Kanter is a rich man's okafor. Just as good or better offensively and can actually rebound. The problem is that he's making 18 million vs jahlil's 4 or whatever it is.

KCP would be a godsend on this roster. He can defend better than Victor and is a better shooter. Because of that, its doubtful that we can come away with him, but he would be really good on this team.

I'm going to be optimistic and think that they pulled out of the Wilson Chandler deal because there are other deals that they like more and the price on Chandler wasn't worth it. The fact that they were that close means that there are probably others that are on the verge as well. If they "really" wanted Wilson they could get the deal done. However, you guys don't want to give up Abrines so that definitely means Presti doesn't. Presti is like a mother hen with prospects.

We don't have the assets to give up to target a guy like KCP. I stand by my original assessment that we will stand pat and not make any trades. If so, it's a late second for Morrow for something else small. We may get a pick back for Roberson or something. That's the only thing I can think of, but highly doubt it given the market.
