just use him as a cheap contract SG backup two more years 8-)

like Bazley was used this 4 years, if he doesnt improve just say bye bye

Glad to see him get it going again. He’s had a few stinkers lately.

If chet is what we think he is, this roster is starting to feel complete. Shai, Chet, Giddey and J Dub as our core. Wiggins, Kenrich and Joe are absolute keepers for me. JRE and Poku still can move in to the tier above. Dieng and this years pick give some affordable rookie scale deals that we hope can maybe be an ace in the hole in a few years. Dort, Bazley, Mann and any others are players I don’t really see as long term pieces. I hope Presti can keep kicking the can down the road with our picks because I want to see this group of guys grow together.

Dieng is a very long term project (closer to Poku than average rookies) and I don't see how we can play him next season if we are better with Chet. This is a good problem to have though so we have some time before making a decision.

Muscala is useless on the floor...I'm fine keeping him because of his leadership but I don't think he's a long term piece like Kenrich.

Jalen Williams impact on this team is crazy...kind of impact you expect from a top 5 pick. No superstar ceiling but he could be borderline all star with a good 3 pt% (yeah that's a common Thunder issue)

I believe muscala will only be on the roster until we get to be league average or above league average without his 3 point shots. So that’s like another season or two .

I thought the win was very impressive. It's very enjoyable watching this team pass the ball something we didn't do in the Westbrook years. Joe is money that was a very good pickup. Jdub is a very good player I believe dieng will pan out he's very young but has the physical skills. Only weak spots now are Mann and baze. Moose is just moose and Wiggins dang syre needs more playing time.

They are definitely making a believer out of me - I expected this run to be short lived, and they are far more consistent than I gave them credit for.

I still think Daigneault has them playing above their heads. I also think we’re still 1.5 All Stars away from being a true contender. But I’m resigned to the idea that those players are not going to come through the draft now.

For sure. Gotta hope Chet is the 1 all star missing and the 0.5 can easily be found by trade or maybe with our 2023 FRP.

I'm a Chet believer but it's scary how much his health and success is important to us. We won't have another high draft pick so I have no clue what will happen to this team if he's a bust.

And yeah our Coaching staff deserves a lot of credit...I love Mark. I'm not sure he's ready to coach a contender but so far he's incredible so time will tell.

I think most teams not named Houston or Detroit are 1.5 stars away from being a contender.

Honestly would like omoruyi playing instead of dieng at the moment. Dieng should be cooking in the d-league this year.

At the minutes he’s playing with so many people out , no issue with Dieng getting his nba run .

We played young guys like Sabonis, Ferguson and Bazley on veteran teams that were trying to win when they really shouldn't have been out there. Dieng was picked 11th like sabonis, which is higher than the other two guys and we traded multiple picks to get him. I think they are heavily invested in his development which according to Schlecht involves planned stints in the G league and with the team.

We did but we had to bench Sabonis during the POs (we did the same with Cam Payne I think) and Ferguson was terrible.

I don't really care about DIeng being a rookie though. I'm just worried because he looks too shy and not ready at all for the NBA. Still to early to draw any conclusions anyway so but gotta hope he has a strong offseason and shows up next season.

Playoffs are a completely different situation. I really don't think Dieng has looked that bad for a guy we knew was a project. Perhaps Poku lowered my expectations. He's obviously not as good as Williams but for a player as young and raw as he is, he's shown flashes. That's really all you can ask for considering how many guys we are trying to develop and he lost time to injury.

I believe we will make the playoffs not the play in. I also think our swap with lac will happen how funny if the clips pick will be lucky and hit in the top 5. The next week of games will tell a lot in terms of standings.

One thing that worries me about tonight's game is greens habit of injuring thunder players. I consider him to be a very dirty play especially when they are losing.
