Do you see Chris Bosh going to OKC?

I can see him going to Oklahama. He has stated numerous times he wants to win a championship and I believe adding him could really put OKC over the top. It would potentially give them 3 all-stars next season.
Even tho they have cap roon I could see a sign and trade CB4 for Jeff Green and another player/pick. What do you guys think?

Why would the Thunder to a sign and trade? Thats Silly.
I think it is possiable. He will probally look to move to a big time network like Knicks, Nets and Bulls first though.
The Thunder have a cupple of things thoes teams do not have:
-Durant, or as Scott Van Pelt calls him "Kevin" There will not be many teams that can offer and gurantee that a player of his callaber will be just that good for the next 10 years next to Bosh. (only LBJ beats him there)
-Close to home. Bosh grew up in Dallas. It is a 3 hour trip back home from OKC, or he can bowwor the Owners Jet and get there in a half hour. This type of proxmidy is something Big Market teams can not offer.
-The Crowd last night. Did that ont give you goose-bumbs? ****! I hope it gave Bosh goode-bumps!
There is an outside shot. But, the Thunder ae going to be a VERY interesting team this offseason. Since, this will be the last year they wil be under the Cap for a very, very long time.

I don't see them commiting the $$$ to Bosh. Honestly, David Lee brings a lot of the same stuff (high percentage scoring, defensive rebounding, big man passing) that we need for probably a bit more than half the price. I'd prefer him.

I'd rather see Ibaka get more minutes.

David Lee is half the price because he comes with a 6'8 traffic cone. David plays offense and the traffic cone plays defense. That is why he is half price.

facts are facts.... We aren't getting any big name players in free agency.

How are you coming to this conclusion?
David Lee isn't any worse defensively at PF than Jeff Green, who has some of the worst splits (worse than Lee) at the position defensively in the entire league.

i think that we need to get a mobile big that can rebound and block shots chris bosh would be an amzing peace to this already stellar roster but instead of giving up green who is solid i see maybe them trying to get someone like chris andersen even though he is locked up he would be an amzing peice in okc he can run block shots rebound putbacks and always find his way to the rim then maybe bring a few more defenders to this team

who is going to close out and contest all those perimeter shots? Definitely not Lee....
and I'm coming to this conclusion because I know how Presti works. He wont add a big name player to this team. There is a reason he didnt add Marcus Camby, even though he could of helped us. He wants this team to grow together and go through the pains and successes together. The only guys he will add are rookies, and a mid guy who isn't very well known who will just blend in.

There won't be as big a need to close out on perimeter shooters if we're not doubling and switching to cover up for Jeff Green's lack of size.. anyway, I think you're severely overrating Green's usefulness on defense. Yes, it's great he hustles and closes out on shooters, but that's not a skilled thing to do, it's something you can teach anybody and I'm sure anyone brought in here would fall in line with that philosphy since our best player is one of our defensive leaders.
Sam Presti had no trouble adding Tyson Chandler's salary before he found out his feet were broken. He almost HAS to sign someone to a decent contract or he'll be way under the cap -- much further than any team has been to start an NBA season.
The reason we didn't go for Marcus Camby is probably because we would have to give up a nice prospect to get him. Travis Outlaw and Steve Blake are good players...

Next year we need to add one big man and one 3pt shooter, who can stretch the defense.
A catch and shoot type of guy.
Every championship tea has at least one of those.
Who could that be?

I agree. Bosh doesn't really address enough weaknesses to pay him double the price of a guy like Lee.
Do you actually want Lee now though? I thought you were pretty against the idea when I said the Thunder should try to nab him for approx. $7-8 mill last summer. Might just be getting you mixed up with the high majority that was vocal during the summer though.

Mike Miller seems pretty ideal. He seems more than happy accepting a smaller role. If you want someone better (and younger), you will probably have to trade a few guys.

Presti had no problem doing so, but there were a lot of rumbles that the owners were happy that they had an excuse to axe the deal.

Lee's been much more productive this season...

Not really. He's scored a few more points per game, that's about it.

That's a big deal.. he's proving he can shoot with volume and still maintain the high efficiency. He's taking three more shots a game and his scoring efficiency hasn't dropped at all. That's impressive. He's a legit second option, and would be a huge threat in pick and roll offense with Russ. Much better than Krstic, who can't roll to the basket undefended.
Also he's become a fantastic facilitator this year. He'd probably come in and be the third best passer on our team.

He's always been a really talented passer and play maker. I still wouldn't call him a reliable second option on offense, but Durant's more than the average first option, so I guess it could work. Especially since Harden is still developing. I liken him to David West as a 2cnd-third option. I think both have always been a tad overrated as scorers, but they can still be solid options - especially within the flow of an offense.

That makes him worth more than the $7-8 mill I wanted the Thunder to spend on him though. Calling him a legit second option, top rebounder, and skilled playmaker suggests he's worth something in the $10-12 mill range.
