Are the OKC Thunders the new *Golden State Warriors* of the NBA, as saying have they stolen the Warriors swag of shocking the entire NBA fanbase and possibly even take the Lakers to 7 games and win??

OKC winning this series would not be nearly as big an upset as Warriors over Mavs. The Mavs were 20+ games better than the Warriors that year.

not even close. this thunder team is already 10 times better than the warriors ever will be. they never had durant. they never had westbrook. and curry will never be westbrook. you guys are a very good young team with a top 3 player in the league and a top 3 point gaurd in the league. when you guys get a center, you will win your title. good luck against the gaykers, im rooting hard for you guys.

i dont know about that, coming from a warriors fan, game 4 looked like the run n gun that was affective against an older team, but look at it this way, the warriors team were full of vets, but they were affective to that style of play and had great team chemistry, just like the thunder now, but are way younger. Hard to compare the thunder to the warriors IMO...but i believe that the thunder will be real good in a run n gun system, but i would avoid small ball as much as nellie used it.

Wow, I like the Thunder and Westbrook as much as the next guy but a top 3 PG?

Don't get ahead of yourselves, guys.

The max you'll see is Game 7 played in LA. Still, gotta thank your team for a great battle, which hopefully will wake my team for tonight's game and afterwards. :D

I disagree. The Lakers are DEFENDING CHAMPS and OKC is the youngest team in the league with close to zero playoff experience.

GSW had Barron and Stephen Jackson who has a ring from San Antonio. Plus we all know what Dallas does in the playoffs, they fade just like they are doing now being down to the Spurs 3-2 even with home court advantage. Plus GSW had Nellie their old coach.

I disagree. The reason why the Warriors got a lot of love was because I believe during that year, the warriors were not considered to be on the playoff. I think they finished the season with something like
"The loss dropped them (warriors) to 26–35, a hole inspiring the squad to a point of total determination. On April 18, 2007, the Warriors clinched their first playoff bid since 1994 with a resounding 120–98 victory in their season finale at Portland. The Warriors closed out the regular season (42–40) with a 16–5 ending run." - wiki

I believe the warriors were on the verge of elimination almost every game within the playoff. The Thunders is a good team, they'll be a force to reckon in the near future.

As the "usual suspects' age and drop, I expect the Thunder,Warriors, Blazers to battle for the West.
The Clips,Kings,Wolves, also are moving up soon, so there could be a year where there's a whole pack of teams that are near even.

For now, the top PG's probably are paul,Williams,Nash. There's a half dozen candidates to replace Nash in a year or so,Westbrook is a strong candidate but still has rough edges. Who will be first to have the overall game?

Always??? He has one bad season with injuries... And we are talking about pg's right NOW. Nash is way over Westbrook RIGHT NOW in my opinion. You're also forgetting Derrick Rose.
