3pt shooter?

Post#1 » by BIG EDDIE » Sun May 9, 2010 9:09 pm

With all the "Which Center shall we trade for" talk, let me ask you guys another important question:

Which 3pt shooter specialist will the Thunder bring in this summer? I mean we need someone, who can knock down the 3 pointer on a regular basis on a catch and shoot.
Harden is probably the best in that area on this team. Hopefully he can improve his % next season, but we need another 40-45% 3pt shooter.

So lets hear your thoughts, who could that be?

I think that rests on Hardens shoulders. If was his first year out of college this past season. He will only get better.

There are also 12 guys under contract assuming Krystic opts in on his contract. With two picks in the first round that leaves 14 contracts the NBA can carry 15 if they choose to. I guess they could find another shooter I just have a feeling they won't.

Obviously a ton of things can happen from here until training camp but as it stands now, I just think they stick with Harden and hopes he improves. I think next year he will shoot over 40% from 3.

He wasn't horrible this season he attempted 248 3's. Which was the 62nd most attempts (5th for rookies) And he finished 55th over all in percentages at .375 (6th amongst rookies).

The only rookie who took more and shot a better percentage was Steph Curry. Not to shabby.

I think this can be solved through the draft. Supposedly Paul George has a nice stroke.

I'm sorry that kid's name reminds me of the Beatles. Perhaps we can find some kid named John Ringo, then we could draft Fab Melo in 2011. Paul George, John Ringo and Fab at the 5. Okay, you can ignore me now.
