Starting shortly after the lottery took place, I started a mock draft that would allow each team board as a group to determine their team's selection. There were no particular time constraints on reaching a decision, thus some selections took multiple days for a frontrunner to emerge due to lack of board activity or a close call. The draft was finally completed on the official NBA draft day. Due to the length of time required, feelings of some boards have changed since their selection was made.

Here are the final results, with comments and quotes provided below certain selections:

1. Clippers - Blake Griffin PF, 20, Oklahoma City, OK
2. Grizzlies - Ricky Rubio PG, 18, Barcelona, Spain
3. Thunder - Hasheem Thabeet C, 22, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

interesting. I cant remember who I favored.But I do have this "thing" about drafting seven footers....I hate it, bad run of picks wasted on Project centres. So I ma surprised that we combined thought Thabeet was the man to select.
