Any interest in trading for Biedrins for all your 2010 draft picks? Can you absorb his salary without trading any players in return.

I think his injuries and the whole FT shooting thing have seriously hurt his value. He's an interesting 'buy low' candidate if someone feels he's going to be healthy and he can get back to where he was mentally. I just don't see us taking that risk.

4 Years, $36 MILLION, a Abdominal muscle tear, 5 points per game, 8 rebounds per game and played under 40 games this season, for all of the Thunder draft picks (2 first round picks and 2 second round picks)
Is that your real question?

I know that wasent your real question. Your REAL question should have been will you guys TAKE Biedrins off the GSW hands.
The Answer is Yes! We are willing to take your horriable contract. But, you have to give us more. I think your #6 pick HAS to be in the trade.
How about something around:
OKC Get: Biedrins and #6
GSW Get: #21 and #26

Why would the Thunder take on his HUGE Contract, for all of the picks this season? That is silly!

They wouldn't. Biedrins is a guy who's probably worth more to the Warriors right now than any other team. They won't get full value for him because of the injuries, so it's worth it to just keep him and hope he works out.

I'd give up the #26 and probably DJ White for Biedrins.
I think Biedrins rebounds from this clunker of a season.

Biedrins suffered from an unhealthy year. He was dinged up from the start of training camp last year. When fully healthy he's a 14-12 player. Decent, but not great defender. Better off the ball than guarding the post. Would ideally fit next to an offensive PF or C. I think he'd be a good compliment big man.
If you look at AB's contract it's not that bad. Well, bad for what he put up this year, but if he improves from those numbers and gets back to where he was, he's a steal at 9M. Any decent bigman off a rookie contract is going to cost money.
Of our 3 long term contracts (Monta/Maggs/Biedrins), Biedrins is the guy I least want traded. Maggette is option #1 and if we can find a good deal for Monta I wouldn't be opposed to trade him. But I think most logical Warrior fans think trading AB now is seriously trading at bottom dollar. He's more worth it for us to keep him, than to gamble on even more draft picks. There's likely not to be much out there that could be better than a healthy Biedrins next year.
Now he just needs to keep himself healthy.

I think you make a lot of sense.
I don't think his contract was bad for what he was producing before he got hurt. GS wouldn't get dollar for dollar if they were trade him today. Iagree that GS would be better off to let him get healthy and bring his stock back up.

It's sad, but he's the best big we've had since Webber. Pretty lean years.

Smart thinking, I agree with you.
I like Biedrins because he's a great rebounder and he can put some points too. I really hope that he can climb back to his best form.
